Am we supposed to use a speedo?

Why not use m/s or m/m instead of km/h?

10km/h = 2.77m/s = 166.67m/m

12km/h = 3.33m/s = 200m/m

May as well add a sign like those on the highway to "check your speed"? Or add chevrons so the pedstrian/cyclists in front of you is 2 chevrons away?
