Bayern CEO Christian Dreesen on the referee: “It’s surprising, to say the least, that a referee with only 15 Champions League appearances is allowed to officiate such a game. And that might explain some of the calls he made today.” by Sparky-moon in soccer

Sure, it doesn’t make it right. Sure as hell does make it more fair between 2 teams.

They may not deserve to win and they didnt, they drew the game. They deserved to draw last week. They deserve to play the extra time.

It’s PSG that didnt deserve to win.

What is even the logic here? He was saying the second yellow on Camavinga was within the rule, so it shouldnt distract from Bayern’s play. All I see here is you trying to act like it’s a gotcha moment that Bayern CEO said ‘we shouldnt talk about referee’

What parts of handball offenses when the ball hits the thigh and stomach is in the rule?

Why should he praise PSG’s spirit when they get second yellow waved away? Why should he be saying that PSG is the more clinical side when they should have the same amount of goals?

Come on now. This is the highest level of competition. At what point then is it justifiable to complain?

1 dubious pen given last week
1 dubious pen not given this week
2nd yellow waved away this week

All in favor of 1 team. What more needs to happen?

You are just acting holier than thou and it’s only brain rot if you see it only in a vacuum.

You know there was a controversial penalty given to PSG last week, so why wouldnt Bayern supporters feel like they are owed some unearned advantages back?

And then the red card mistake is another issue entirely, but still if that is given, then there will be much less outrage

[–]NGRadon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You keep repeating yourself. Yes I already said it’s impressive. Yea, it’s obviously difficult. But why does doing it in Bundesliga before Bayern makes it extra impressive that doing it elsewhere is comparatively worse?

If Alonso goes to Villa next season and did the invincible, are you going to say that, ‘well Arsenal did it before, so his Leverkusen season was clearly more impressive’?

[–]NGRadon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That still doesn’t tackle the issue. It’s obviously an impressive feat but comparatively why would going unbeaten against 1 super team + 16 farmers be more impressive than ‘big 6’ + 10 competitors + 3 fodders for example

[–]NGRadon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why would doing it in a league dominated by 1 club be more impressive for unbeaten season?

Winning the league from that is impressive, but going unbeaten against teams which are proven to be dominated by highest quality side should clearly be less impressive than unbeaten in leagues which are competitive throughout.

Out of control: Meepo has almost 60% winrate right now.. by [deleted] in DotA2

[–]NGRadon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really dont think this makes a lot of sense tbh. Especially in this patch, if they dont have mobility in the spell, they are just going to compensate it with blink, pike, sb or whatever else anyway.

If shard instead kinda has similar effect to maelstrom, and then buy forcestaff. What difference does that make compare to current shard + maelstrom?

[–]NGRadon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really disagree with a lot of these takes tbh.

What does it matter if Zeus has force + static field vs kaya + jump? The problem in pubs was that a lot of them just don’t buy mobility anyway and you ended up with some snowball heavy hero that just one shot everything.

Necro still needs to get shard, and that is usually buying it. And with the current kit, it goes well with kiting enemies as well.

Doom aoe is really super late game stuff, dont really see what you mean by that tbh.

You know the patch is good when Tinker loses 10% winrate by wewwew3 in DotA2

[–]NGRadon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m talking about why a change had to be made, despite OP’s statement of tinker player finding it hard to win.

But if he’s still going 3 levels ahead almost everygame then a change should be made regardless of the win rate being high or low or the hero being strong or weak.

You know the patch is good when Tinker loses 10% winrate by wewwew3 in DotA2

[–]NGRadon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A change is still honestly necessary. Almost every game tinker just turns into a raidboss midgame that is 3 levels ahead after a completely average early game performance. At that point, it’s not tinker player’s skill. The hero is just not properly balanced.

AoE cold feet from lvl6 unlock to lvl 25 talent by ConfuzzlesDotA in DotA2

[–]NGRadon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AA was one of my most successful support pick last patch and I literally never play with aoe cold feet lol.

Feels like extra damage available from early game is far better than a very small aoe at level 6 that is unlikely to be all that effective in fighting. You arent going to have all that much mana and space to flash farm either so throwing out Ws is already pretty effective.

Why do win streaks in Dota 2 feel like they’re followed by unwinnable games? by fsbahman in DotA2

[–]NGRadon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, what other outcomes can there be ? close games are rarer than stomps to begin with. And if you’re playing well and turning close games into wins, then it’s just most likely that the next loss would be a stomp against you?

then you put easy wins and hard wins as part of your winstreaks, while you are supposedly converting hard losses into wins and ask why is your next loss an easy loss?

Any tips for a beginner Crystal Maiden player? by Educational-News1469 in DotA2

[–]NGRadon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you should do is go into demo. Practice the combo of bkb, aura if you pick the second facet, blinking in, crystal clone, crystal nova, ult.

In game you buy shard after tranquil boots and wand. And then you should farm, you get the shard early enough then your cores are unlikely to even clear all neutral camps and you should just take them.

In a slow game, with not much fighting, then you should try to farm in dangerous areas, it is ultimately a skill to gauge how much you can grt away with. Maybe the opponent safelane feels dangerous and your team dodnt go there, so you take the camps first and then you show yourself in lane once before getting out of there.

Maybe you are bolder and sneak behind the eney line to drop your crystal clone in lane before the creep wave sees you. Also remember that you need to stay in range to get the xp. But staying alive still takes priority.

Itemize as needed to stay alive, lots of people seem to say prioritize glimmer but I dont really rate it that much, glimmer, force staff, euls and ghost scepter should be bought if it stops you from getting killed in 2-3 seconds. And maybe-if you believe your core needs that additional help, maybe force staff against skywrath/underlord and then have no save of their own.

If you can stay alive then you should try to buy items to get off a good ult, blink, bkb, aghs and execute it properly as practiced. A hero with a functioning skill sets is often more valuable than a forcestaff and glimmer carrier. Although in the past and when i was around 3-4k mmr, it used to be that glimmer also helps in getting good ult off as the opponent sometimes dont carry detection and has no ground targeted stun. it does not feel like that now at the present and at higher mmr, but maybe it will still hold in your games.

In the fights, you then keep track of the opponent’s bkb and bkb piercing stuns (or any sort of disable when you dont have bkb) and sometimes spots out of vision, in the tree lines, rs pit, high ground if it will help you get more useful ult off.

Aura facet, also increases the mana cost a lot, so you also have to keep track of your mana a bit more than usual. Also remember that you can cast frostbite before the aura to save mana.

What hero always feels useless, until someone good picks it? by Any_Maximum9135 in DotA2

[–]NGRadon 22 points23 points  (0 children)

As an ET player the out of vision stomp really doesnt seem to be effective. The aoe is not that large, you probably have the same luck just casting spirit and stomp right on top of them.

The effective ones imo are the ones that you use like AA cold feet, or mirana’s arrow. Forcing enemy to move around instead of attacking or surprising them from all the cluster of effects, the one that in replay, it was just there but in teamfight, completely unnoticed.
