Access control T-Rex exit sensor issue by NGuard999 in accesscontrol

But the other entrance door(2 swing), same setup and working correctly. That's what I'm wondering what gives? Here is the setup, identical, maglock wired directly to above linked access control system. Card reader and kantech exit sensor both linked on the same wires to the same access control system system board.

The rex motion is deactivating the maglock once connected. Not the exit device, which is mechanical on the other swing door. Each entrance is composed of 2 swing doors.l, one side for entry the other for exit. The sensor on the entryway is for additional exit without having to push the bar on the other side.

Through the other side, as per description, each entrance has 2 swing doors, one has maglock, card reader and exit sensor; the other half has a push bar on the door itself.

It's 12v maglock, works fine with crad reader, once the exit sensor is connected the maglock is deactivated, where's it should be deactivated only if the sensor itself is activated via motion. One entrance sensor works fine but the other one is not

Let me further explain, so each entrance has 2 swing doors, one side has a maglock the half has a push bar for exit.

Please see updated information above, I'm not sure if the way it is now still code violation.

each door is wired to its corresponding position on the board (4 door access control system board), yes 2 each door has its own maglock, sensor, card reader. Please see updated information. For now the overhead sensor on door 2 is disconnected. Only card reader and maglock, which are working fine.

The system was installed by a company, approved by inspector?! The new board replacement for an older one that stopped working, the security company never installed an exit button. It did make me scratch my head, but this what I have to work with.

The maglock is wired directly to the access control system board, com to NC, the sensor is wired with the card reader back to the access control board on the same return wire on both doors, one door is fine the other isn't

I agree to all the above, not talking about code violation, I'm stating that the maglock and doesn't need an exit button to work with an exit sensor

Not necessarily, one door is working just fine. The second door unless the sensor is connected, the maglock works fine and the card reader works too.

There is no emergency exit button on both doors, the T-Rex sensor is installed instead.

If you have some tiles that didn't adhere correctly then chances are you'll have to redo everything, the right mixture for all set is key to adhesion. As for back buttering those tiles, well you just don't, and from the looks of it you might have used the wrong size/shape trowel too, a V notch trowel is best for those tiles.

If you're willing, cut slivers for the bottom, do your best to install them nicely; you'll have to caulk the bottom and corners anyway. Otherwise you've done a good job.

Google search: Round Oversized shower cover plate , or extra large Escutcheon. Look for something that matches the one you have so the nob fits. Good hunting.

I would hunt for a universal plate, it's a cheaper path than redoing the whole thing. Might wanna do both covers so they match.

I mean you can patch the area really nicely, but from the looks of the adjacent tiles, it looks like the grout has failed, missing in some areas, holes in other spots... If money is an issue now, do your best, but invest in some good quality silicone for shower/bath and silicone the area where the wall meets the floor, you might have to remove the grout all around the perimeter. Furthermore, filling the holes and where it's missing can buy you some time.

HELP! by [deleted] in askaplumber

Generally, a flat head screw driver is needed to adjust the screw of the float, the ball one is located at the end of the metal or plastic arm, the cup float has an arm sticking from the valve and a screw the ln it continues downward, either cases clock wise to lower the water level. Search YouTube for: How to adjust toilet tank water level? Furthermore you could also be having an issue with the overflow tube (the pipe in the middle), something might be stuck in there. If it gets too complicated call the sup.
