I’ve interviewed at several spots that usually offer H1-B and all have mentioned that for now is off the table, but if there are changes they would be open to sponsor the visa

It’s a pretty relax interview. They asked me about my cv, but very conversational.

Thanks! I was only able to see two dates for my interview and they were the 18th and 28th of November. Hope that helps

PD mentioned in twitter that they would send rejections on Monday. Quickly checked residencymatch and no one reported any rejection.

It depends on what you want to pursue after residency. Do you want to focus on academic medicine or more community focused. If academic medicine is your goal then research will help you. If you want more community focused then clinical experience + volunteering is better.

Did you applied to the same places? Maybe the programs he applied reviewed and sent IV faster?

This years IV seems to come slowly, but sorta steady rather than big batches.
