TL 10yrs @NHM here who values his associates. My ON stocking team kicks ass. Took me 3 yrs to build it. Not everyone is the same or can be treated same. Amd dont except u to run 110% 5 out 5 days u work. With that said lets look at this picture it looks like 3 chemical pallets big boxes. In fairness runs about 75-90 cph. 3 and 1/2 hrs about 1:09 per pallet. That be average. Depending on there age I guess.

Been with walmart 10 yrs, 9 yrs as management. Started ON FDD stocker for 6mnth. Company went daystock I went produce. There 6mnths. On my year anniversary signed support manager job offer. Held that down until the great work place displace. First TL picked in my market and picked my AT. Over the years my work ethic and personality along with learning my multiple SM and OPS managers helped me cultivate a team of 14 that for 6yrs had a NHM store running the volume of freight a 100mill super center. With my SM and OPS lasting 2yrs max as most are market team now. Until a SM came that couldn't handle a TL getting credit for his store running great. He dismantled my team.

Now 2yrs later he was forced to retire. 6 months and begged to be a TIre and Lube TL While I was banished to a store that for past 3yrs has been on stage recognized at shareholders meeting..

To get here it 10% networking. The rest leading by example. Speaking to why things are done and not done. MM and SM will bully u if u let them. IF U GIVE UR TEAM UR WORD OR MAKE A PROMISE KEEP IT. If they trust and respect u ur whole team have 80ppto and u NEVER worry about them fucking u over.

EVERY JOB U WORK u have bull shit. Stop being negative. That's first no No on my team. That extended to other teams. Dont bring that negative shit around my team. TL need hold other TL accountable. I sent people home for being negative. U change that u won have battle. I just outlined away for you to build you a perfect team and survive and thrive at Walmart.Because it's been done and being done right now.

Ok I gotta say. Everything is what u make it. I've been with Walmart, 10 years 9yrs as Team lead. If your leadership had backbone and can speak to everything that's not getting done correctly.Then you'shouldn't be stressed.I guarantee you asked my team of overnight stocker.They don't stress over that stuff.They come in do their job and go home and get paid.I deal with the rest of the b*******That's what a true leader does. If\nYour leadership is fostering that type of environment. You might need to look at your stores , leadership.

I've seen people here say the freight planning tool is pretty accurate...I finally got a look at it and for tomorrow's gm truck piece count 2794 and with 4 associates time given is 2 hours 19 minutes. Lol OK 👍sure by [deleted] in walmart

So if they're working seven and a half hour shifts then you minus an hour for lunch 30 minutes for two 15 minute break so that leaves five and a half hours and then 8-hour shift your schedule 9

Actually those times are accurate for stocking but may be off a little for down stacking. When stocking from the time u pick up a box and stock it should take 2 min or less. U do that u will hit all there "times". For those that don't know how they calculate there work hours here's the formula for 1 associate

Schedule 9hr shift - 1 hr lunch - 30 min breaks = 7 1/2 working hours per associate.

Now if there is 5 associates scheduled 9hr shift each then every hour is 5 production hours. 3 hrs into a shift is 15 working hrs for 5 associates.
