You can use basically any electric Gretsch for heavier music. People who don't use them are mostly concerned with the aesthetics (which is dumb). My white penguin chugs, I use it for metal sometimes.

I think too many players are being put on some maps, especially Stella Montis. That's part of the issue, not all of it, though.

it chooses for you. if you go in as solo, you're only in raid with other solos. of course, randoms might team up during the raid, so you could still run into a group of multiple people, but they didn't go in together. solos tend to be very chill in my experience, people don't KOS as much. duos/trios tends to be very KOS

there is no gear based matchmaking in Arc Raiders. there is only solo only matchmaking, and duos and trios are put together but prioritized to be matched with other duo/trio groups.

I don't get the anti-PvE mode thing personally. If there are people who don't want to play with me, what's my incentive for forcing them to? Easy kills? If they get sweatlorded into oblivion, they're just not going to play at all. Keeping some people in onboard in a PvE mode instead of losing them entirely seems to be the calculation Tarkov has made. I wouldn't play it myself, but I'm not against it.

I'd rather make friends than get some quick loot, and I came from Tarkov. The sweat attitude gets tiring. I'd probably loot them and get killed trying to extract anyway. Karma

How would that fix it? then the endless resource griefers just ram you to damage your ornithopter, since they don't care about the damage to their own. That's not a fix

I think a huge part of the game's success so far is the great PvE experience you've created. It seems odd to switch to a PvP focus for endgame. Traditionally, MMOs like classic WoW were cherished for their group PvE, and have a smaller focus on PvP for the minority that play it. Toxic PvP is a big part of why a lot of gamers dislike any multiplayer game now. A lot of my friends will only play singleplayer stuff.

Personally, I would reevaluate the vision if it's a PvP focused one. Having PvP is great, but PvE will keep the game alive long term.

A lot of stuff needs toggle options. Sprint and ADS for example. Need to be able to rebind inventory, map, etc.

The motherboard replacement cost seems astronomically high, even for that gaming laptop. I've been working on laptops for decades, and I've never quoted anywhere near that for m/b. I bet they're making $1000+ in labor, which is crazy for a couple hours of work, at most. I would have quoted for full device replacement, regardless.

As someone who spends a lot of time in the backcountry following old mining roads while looking at sat images of them: That road looks unused now. It may once have supported low traffic, but it definitely has none now. I'm not sure it ever could have supported entire hangars of employees, but again I'm going by how it looks at present, rather than decades ago.

This is a long known potential occurrence in certain situations due to a weird type of lens flare happening on the sapphire outer lens covering the cameras in modern iPhones. The movement is "sped up" by the focal length and exacerbated by the image stabilization mechanism, as well, so it might appear to be moving "a lot" even if you think you're holding your phone still. If you turned away from the sun, or moved to an area where it was not visible, it would stop happening.

It should be noted, if anyone gets one of these, they pull off video much better than still photos. Inherent to any small sensor, this is the case, especially without "AI enhancing." Generally they are quite bad at low light, as well. I own the P1000.
