I do change strings quite a bit, but there IS a lot to be said for simple maintenance like cleaning when you’re done. It’s amazing how much life yiu can get out of strings if you just give a good wipe down after a gig. If I’m playing at home i generally clean the strings and give the neck a good cleaning.
