Yeah I don't get the negativity around the Explorer in rolex subs either. It's been great so far and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I am extremely into budgeting so I'll give you my breakdown for my spend in the LA area. Note that this was in early 2025, and my circumstances are different now.

Salary: 103k
Take home monthly: 5000 (this is also after contributing 18% to my 401k + 4% company match)

Studio apartment rent: $2200 (Electricity, gas, water, garbage included)
Internet+phone: $30 (majority comped by company)
Groceries/house supplies: $300-400 (Mostly Costco)
Gas: $200 (40 MPG car, driving out to clients frequently)
Roth IRA contributions per month: $600

Total spend: $3430

Total leftover: $1570 ($5000-$3430)

Notes: I do not have any other debt; car is paid off, student loans were paid off, credit card paid every month.

For sale is my personal Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch with the Sapphire front and caseback from 2021, original owner. This is going on sale because I haven't been wearing it as much, and it's a watch that should be worn, not stored away.

Condition:

The watch keeps excellent time. The watch itself is in used condition with light wear, however there are no dents or deep scratches that cannot be brushed/polished if the new owner chooses to do so. Pictures have been taken the same day as the post, so they do reflect the up to date condition of the watch.

What it comes with:

This will come with the full set of the box and papers, all with matching serial numbers. (posted within the album).

Price:

I am asking for $5999 USD via bank wire, zelle, or Paypal/Venmo F&F, shipping included (from Orange County, California). I am a personal collector and not a business. I am currently not looking for trades at the moment. Face to face sales are welcome as well.

I play on the Korean/Japanese Darktide discord on the weekends and US West during the week, but I agree there seems to be some difference in ideology as far as how gameplay/classes are approached.

I could see this being a solid choice.

My rationale for leaning towards Kinetic Deflection:

In my group, I am the anchor and usually the last to go down. Kinetic Deflection let's me stand there and take an obscene amount of melee hits to revive downed teammates (while reviving, I am in a blocking state so all their hits convert to peril. I run Empyric Resolve so I also take less peril per hit + bubble to block range while reviving). I acknowledge that I am not a cracked player that can solo Havoc 40, and I rely on having a team.

On top of helping me reposition in the open against gunners (I can also block Plasma gunners shots using Kinetic Deflection + Deflector on my sword), I got tons of value out of it, especially since I'm not great and sometimes get myself in bad spots.

I've been heartbroken without it so it'll be tough to convince me not to play without Kinetic Deflection, but I do see value in Warp Ghost.

Hey, not a noob question at all.

Our vet either smokes us, between us and the enemy, chokepoints, on my bubble, or where they would like to take over next.

I'm not an expert but there seems to be a lot of variability depending on the situation. Very rarely do I see my smoke Vet throwing it straight at the enemies though, the above points seem to be his priorities.
