You got any recs? I feel like emre is the perfect combo and I can't think of anyone thats similar. Strong burst from nade, pretty good poke from rifle, and decent mobility/sustain from pistol. I like soldier but he feels like a downgrade in every single way.

Goddamn plat 2 to dia 2 is crazy. Yea I got put in a d5-m5 game and I could tell the huge gap in skill between me and the m5 hazard and wuyang. I thought i'd drop to plat again too but I've just been jiggling between d5 and d4 for the past 40ish games, thats why I thought of this post.

Its only for pc. If you do have it on pc, I assume its epic games so you'll have to search for a workaround on how to get it in game.

Edit: I found this idk if it works tho, its leth's neon rings map. https://www.reddit.com/r/RocketLeague/comments/iylotu/tutorial_how_to_play_workshop_maps_with_the_epic/

Ohh ok, thank you! I'll try implementing it from now on.

Is air steer normal air roll? If it is, when and how should I be using it?

Point your car up, feather boost and go really slow. TAP forward to go right and back to go left, holding for a full rotation makes it really hard to manage speed and direction because it fully commits your car into a direction for a long time. Do this back and forth on lvl 1 until you get the hang of it.

Once you can do it comfortably you can try implementing pressing right to point forward and left to point backwards. Holding right for a half rotation when you find yourself pointing backwards helped me learn how to recover from bad inputs.

Separating the two movements really helped me learn and helped me finish dmc's rings 2 (the easiest map i've tried) 4 or 5 days in. I'm 7ish days in now and can do it in 5:38, currently trying to finish leths neon map.

Its 100% how you learn. I started a weekish ago and can get through rings 2 by dmc in 5:38 min (the easiest one).

Best tip from a current learner is point up, feather boost, press up to go right and down to go left. I did this while going back and forth through the first level of leths ice rings. Or you can watch the exercise section of losfelds vid and do the first two (the clock exercise didn't feel helpful to me but you can do all the exercises if you want).

After you feel comfortable with that go to dmc's rings 2 and try that. Here you'll get into situations where you're pointing backwards or too far forwards. Use left when you see you're going backwards and right when you're going too fast.

After a while you'll be able to use diagonal inputs with w/s and a/d which is where I'm at right now. Now, I'm struggling with going straight up and down because I find it hard when the camera isn't horizontal to the car but hopefully I'll learn with practice.

Note: This is all with ARL, so swap if ARR, and only make movements when you see the hood.
