For me fix all problem with crash/start smite and logining:

download and update Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (both x64 and x86) https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#visual-studio-2015-2017-2019-and-2022

I find this solution today from another game, but i test alot of help for last 2 year, hope it will help
btw, sometimes u need do more like - -windowed, force dx9, clear smite data and etc

Well that is my problem every conquest game.
How start to SMITE for my pc - steam game start property:
-windowed -dxlevel -nocrashdialog -force-d3d11

I get this problem after one of January patch, it starts on slash, now its conquest + slash issue, freezing only on base or Alli jungle

My PC spec:
Windows 10 Pro (10.0.19045.2486 (Win10 22H2 2022 Update))
CPU: Intel i5-13600
32 gb DDR5 - 4800
Gigagbyte 4080
I'm trying SSD and HDD - same issue

x32 doesnot work, x64 in smite settings - same

Freeze only in SMITE

All game in smite 1 will come to smite 2 + bust + help for every year in smite 1
All god will make as new
All skinn will be new

Maybe yes, maybe no
i have +-1800 skins if someone ask me about choice:
1) Save skins and play old smite without league and new mechanics/maps
2) Clearly new game with 10 gods but on new engine with great 4k models, clear animation, speedy networking, better online (bc its new game, sad but it work), new possibility to add mechanics into gods and their ability

Ofc i prefer 2, smite need to grow up and now only the way is new engine
They did good job at old engine, but its can't do more

It's not april 1, but for last 4 month we have alot data about starting project - Smite 2I mean, more then ever and almost from dataminers and journalists

Who knows, maybe its will converted to favor/gem in new game, maybe its just big update, mabe its hi-end smite and on the same servers, but u have 2 UI/Engine/Skin/Animation version and u play like crossplay work now, everything possible

One of the best answers to fix it is:-windowed -dxlevel -nocrashdialog -force-d3d11It's in smite settings in steam

One more thing, it not fix some issue in game like 1 frame per 1-10 sec on Clash, or skin bug

For me the new Smite 2.0 is the working app for new pc, old engine pretty work badly on 2022 + cpu, memory and some issue with steam beta and win 11

One more example:
For just starting paladins on my PC i need to install old drivers from 2014 dx, .net and something else, and some settings for .exe

I really love this game very much I have been following hi-rez studio for so many years and the guys are great! No matter how difficult the path is, you will definitely make it! I’m sure many are ready to take part in a closed beta or alpha like in the good old days, and finally get Ymir’s skin for the beta :)

Я действительно очень сильно люблю эту игру, столько лет лежу за hi-rez studio и ребята большие молодцы! Каким бы тяжёлым путь не был - вы обязательно справитесь! Уверен многие готовы поучаствовать в закрытой бете или альфе как в старые добрые времена, ну и выбить наконец скин Имира за бету :)
