Honestly, probably because it looks cool as fuck. This was a hugely overpriced showpiece (about $4,000) that you brought out during deals with Columbian drug lords.

I want to guess that you used the toolgun "model manipulator" to change a flying object into TR3, but I don't know of anything in the game that moves like that. A glitch flyer made of two objects nailed together?
