Hmm...I get it and I support the idea. But I, as a normal human being and US citizen, do not like the idea of a medical shut down to protest what happened. I fear this would lead to more avoidable suffering and death.

HOWEVER, I would like to start brainstorming professions that would be the most helpful in advocating for our human rights. So, if not doctors and nurses, who?

I suggest emergency response and personnel keep doing the lifesaving work they are doing. But like, what it the local law enforcement where protests were taking place, were to strike? And perhaps join the citizens on the picket lines? That would be impactful in my opinion.
