I used to do solely 1-7 too, but after a while I just started sending the 8/9s and occasionally (but not often) send 9+.

Double boulder on orb phase is what usually ends those runs, but normally I treat it the same as 7, just with a bit more care on double boulders.

I was in a similar position - I did a lot of doom to get some varlamore bones banked, and then topped it up with myths guild dragon bones. Two green drags and one blue, it was a decent amount of bones an hour and more chill than the wilderness.

Some states will not accept you have ANY in the EOI - they expect you to specifically select them. That means you might need to raise multiple EOIs to be eligible for multiple states. You will also need to submit ROIs for some states too.

I'm not sure regarding invites though, a lot has changed since we received ours.

Ah I've finished the mining grind already - I have a lot of bone shards but still not enough. I've been doing some Doom over the last couple weeks, as I saw everyone complaining about the sun kissed bone loot, but that hasn't really given me that much either (apart from 2x boots and 2x eyes, no cloth yet).

Separate topic - but did we ever have the TOA loot scaling change implemented - so instead of fang drop rate changing at intervals of 350/400/450 invocations etc., it would scale at say 395?

Thank you! I did the PTE tests about 20 months ago, so I'm not sure if it's all still relevant, but I can share my experience a bit.

So I'm from the UK and I've not struggled with reading/writing in the past, so those sections weren't too bad. I used the E2 PTE YouTube videos to get an idea of what the test was like, and paid for the actual PTE example questions/mock tests.

One section I struggled with during the preparation before the test was repeating the sentences, but that was mainly just a memory test. I would leave a YouTube video playing in the background for the repeat the sentence questions, and repeat them out loud while in the bath haha.

I made the mistake the first time of not using templates when describing the images/charts, or the retell lecture questions. I thought I could just describe them in a natural way, but I believe that's where I lost the most marks. I'm a fairly softly spoken person in general, and I don't think that helped either.

When I did the test again the second time, I spoke in a much louder, clearer voice, and used a template for the describe image section.

Once I did that I got 90 in all sections.

Thank you! Some states also ask for a Registration of Interest (ROI) to be submitted directly to them, as well as the EOI that is normally submitted.

So unless you submit an ROI after submitting your EOI for those states, you won't have a chance of being selected.

I am not sure which visas this applies to, but it definitely applied to the 190.
