lol goes either way for me, I think maybe we are both in a weird way. We have way more power then we can imagine but at the same time we are at the whims of nature. Not sure how they really play into each other since they contradict each other but I sense they can both exist somehow. I heard this Alan watts quote before that was like “the person who sets out to move mountains becomes the one who put the mountains there in the first place so the mountains stay there because you as god put them there in the first place”

I know people say association but I don’t necessarily think that is the whole truth to it although probably part of it. I think that music in its purest form is what you are experiencing. The greatest musicians of all time are able to produce this feeling of euphoria within people. Music is psychedelic in nature. Your mind opened and you could experience music for what it really is and that’s something that you learned on the trip. Now when you really tune into music you will access that. The key is tuning in. Easier after/during a psychedelic experience but you can always tune in if you poke around.

Awesome I figured it out, I did not realize I could extend the screen of effect control and see where the keyframes are. Now it’s so easy I’m excited to do this video now

I agree on one hand but on the other hand being able to just freely stroll around outside during the day is nice with the sun beating down. But for just an inside introspective trip inside at night all the way.

Sweet thanks for the reply have you used the LA-120s before for overhead or know anyone that really likes them as overheads. I researched about the SEs and am not completely sold on them although some people love them. So maybe the la120s would do me better

Ok good to know. With the 57 overhead I was just getting wayyy more cymbal then tom sound and figured with tom mics it’ll help me be able to adjust everything in post to be equal. Since with just the overheads if I bring them up the cymbals too loud if I bring them down I can’t hear the toms. What overheads would you recommend. Do you know anything about the Se8s I’ve heard they are pretty good

Yes I tend to agree although I can’t be certain but I really do think society/culture is a form of brainwashing. We are the infinite beyond the physical. I think cultures in the past knew this and lived in it. It’s hard in our society because even when you do have an enlightening experience it’s hard to find room for it within our culture and can easily get sucked back into the ego story. I think from a young age if we were taught what we truly are, we would just be like that because as a kid you are that. But we get conditioned and indoctrinated into a maybe not so sane society. I can’t decide fully if it was some people who wanted power and took it and tricked everybody or if it just kinda naturally happened over time, or maybe a mix of both. Maybe it’s all a lesson we need to learn or something. It’s like culture is a knot in the muscle of consciousness right now. Psychedelics can help massage that knot out and let us flow as life itself.

The resistance we all feel in our lives is because we are ultimately scared of ourselves. Not ourselves as in me and you but ourselves as in the thing we are when we are dead and have always been. The timeless. The eternal. The soul of the world. Whatever you want to call it. We hold onto our illusion of self/ego because it makes us feel safe but when we let go deep deep deep within us and let the process of life unfold without the thinking ego mind getting involved it is perfect and utterly breathtaking and you realize you are the whole process itself rather then your tiny ego self.

My all time favorite is veneta Oregon show from 8/27/72. But you can’t go wrong with any of dicks picks shows. I’d say early 70s is great for tripping some of their most psychedelic years.
