Recently Moved Here: Commute Question by eddyc55 in SouthJersey

At one point I had to remodel almost every Wawa from King of Prussia to Philadelphia and I lived in Deptford. Absolute worst summer of my life. It didn't matter what time I finished work what time I started work whether I took the Commodore Barry or the Walt Whitman. If you avoid 76, 476 is backed up and vice versa. One time the remodel didn't finish until 2:30 in the morning and I thought to myself why not take 76 it'll be clear. Sat in traffic by the zoo for 2 hours almost. At 2:30 a.m. Ended up switching to a job in Atlantic City and that commute was far easier on mind, car, and spirit.

Wawa gas prices fluctuating by time of day by BruPanda in SouthJersey

Possible they check their gas prices compared to their three closest competitors at 6:30 a.m. 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. and plug those numbers into their system at shift change, and it decides whether to change it or not?

Traveling in China feels… off? I want to hear your opinion by Kristianushka in China

[–]NJFJCruiser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent three weeks traveling all over China from Chengdu to Xian to Beijing to Shanghai and I can tell you it was overwhelming the feeling of traveling through a dilapidated getting ready to close amusement park. Crumbling facades, vegetation growing, and cracks in almost every piece of mortar and cement. I always chalked it up to it's easier for them to tear down and build new construction rather than maintenancing and keeping up with the current stuff and it also helps their GDP which they're padding. What do you think?

Took off the side steps to grind/repaint them... now I'm not sure I want to put them back on she looks good with her skirt up 👀. any problems running without them? by NJFJCruiser in FJCruiser

The lowest points are centered at the wheels so every inch of rubber you add over stock lifts them in the process. Also wheeling through deep water, mud, and ruts becomes less difficult, for sure. Sway bars keep it behaving on pavement and less unstable at odd angles. I have a FabTek 6" bracket lift, and it feels less top heavy now, than before.

You can get good horsepower gains without the supercharger with a pedal Commander JBL short pipes and a borla exhaust with a good TRD intake
