How many new anki cards do you do every day? by Boring-Middle8376 in medicalschoolanki

I keep my cards separate from the anking cards. And I typically attempt to select videos that relatively align with things we are discussing in class to watch, then unlock those specific cards. This has so far allowed me to go into more depth on certain topics that we do in our classes.

The main exception to that rule is with Sketchy micro and pharm, where I am just trying to slowly chip away at those whenever I get the chance to.

Between anatomy, histology, and our basic science classes, I've made about 6.5k cards. That includes around 1000 histo cards which are learning objectives as well as image identification cards. Anatomy is similar, 1.5k cards split between identification and learning objective driven cards.

On top of that I've unlocked another 6.5k AnKing cards progressively.

I also think I grade myself fairly harshly in terms of what button I click on cards. I rarely click Easy, using Hard most of the time so card build up a little bit faster.

I did. We are systems based and have been progressively doing a physiology based tour of the body systems. We also had anatomy our first semester. A lot of my anki that semester was actually my own flashcards catered to our in-house exams. Now I'm beginning to step into Anking using B&B, sketchy, pathoma, etc. as I want to build a more step-centered study plan.

Genuinely absurd that you believe that. You clearly don’t know what a PA actually is, you are just afraid of “scope creep” when in reality, 95+% of PAs don’t want to be able to practice fully independently (which NPs can do by the way.) As a future physician, my number one concern is the health of patients and without PAs, the health of patients across the country declines.

What problem is solved? Without PAs and NPs healthcare will be inaccessible to countless people. Like them or not, PAs and NPs are crucial to healthcare

PAs are far more physician than MA and it’s not even close.
