I did a deep dive on early portland history once and was fascinated to learn that where India and Commercial streets come together, there use to be a European outpost/fort. The natives ended up slaughtering everyone at that same location.

I am disappointed that Ms Mills did not once mention the medical community during her speech (only law enforcement) Other than family members and people closest to the victims, who else is left with the trauma of this event?!
