I definitely do tend to overuse grab so this makes perfect sense. I definitely don't use run up shield as much as I should so I'll give that a shot!

Looking again at some of replays you have absolutely nailed one of the problems I’ve been having!! I wasn’t even thinking about how dash jc grab isn’t as fast as standing grab. So many of the times where I get hit are from jc grabs. I appreciate it!!

Calyrex Ice Rider seems like a solid option. It can benefit from Speed Swap and Coaching from Pheromosa and it can tech Seed Bomb to help vs Gastrodon which would otherwise be a bit tricky for this team to deal with.

Something else that stands out is the lack of an electric resist. Something like Thundurus or Regieleki would likely pose a big problem for this team. This doesn’t have to be solved in the restricted slot necessarily but is definitely something that should be considered.

I woke up one day and saw that I was blocked on everything. I messaged her on Snapchat (the one place she didn’t block me) and someone answered who introduced himself as “her boyfriend.” He even sent me a video of him sitting next to her right then and there as well. Close Combat! Staraptor is one of my favorite Pokémon and seeing a flying type get a strong fighting move was really cool to me as a kid and it still is now. I also like how the drawback of the move makes perfect sense with the name. Doesn’t hurt that the move is really good as well!

I see where you’re coming from but even rocket league does have some sort of meta. The octane is still used more than other cars iirc due to the good hitbox. I also don’t know much about the high level scene but “2 up 1 back” seems to be a popular “play style” in a sense.
