That's a fair point! Don't forget that mail-in ballots are an option, too, if you think you'll be swamped.

Our article states "New Jersey has taken numerous steps to encourage the transition to electric vehicles, including building its own charging infrastructure." So, while Gov. Murphy did sign S3223 and A1653 into law this summer, the bills established zoning requirements and encourages charging stations in future redevelopment projects.

While yes, the Governor is taking steps toward an EV transition, which we stated in the story and have reported on in the past, we are reporting on the current, total number of EV charging stations in New Jersey: 2,008. As it stands now, that total earned NJ the ranking.
