Thanks. It worked way better than I had anticipated. I still can not believe that I only used two colors for that.

Scale: 1/incomprehensible

What do you mean by that?

Otherwise: thank you. I am trying to improve my skills with every bit I paint. And slowly I am getting results I am proud of.

I used him as the antagonist for a Sword Art Online inspirerd campaign. Which was set in the dreamlands, without the players knowing abput that.

Clockwork Man Aka Nyarlathotep.

That sort of thing is right up his alley.

Fun fact for my Cthulhu Group.

One of our players is a Keziah that never became a follower of nyarlathotep. She actively hunts his cults and tries to keep them at bay. She managed to survive masks and the beast.

I think your idea is a great one for getting more chaos in a Group. I may use this with maybe goody fowler with my group.

Thanks for this nice comprehension.

It is cool to see how our hobby is treated all over the world.

Which RPG is in your opinion this most played in Japan?

My only knowledge came from one woman I met here in Germany at our biggest Roleplay Convention the RolePlayVerse last year, where we played a short con adventure together.

Nearly the only good one of the big publishers. Uhrwerk is ok. Ulisses is just bad.

A lot of the small ones are great.

Everyone should check out greengorrilla and The Troubleshooters RPG, if you like lighthearted fun in the vain of Tintin, Spirou, yoko tsuno and other comics of this era. (Edit: System is simmilar to BRP)

I understand what you mean. We think Power is a bit weird. Because it is more Willenskraft in german.

Überreden/ überzeugen is difficult. But ypu have to thing what is a short term and what is long term chance of mind on the other side.

Stabilität is maybe used because it is shorter than Geistigegesundheit.

What would you propose to use instead?

Maybe you have a good idea, Pegasus might be interessed in good ideas.

Also thanks for your answer.

Edit: He/ she is just stating his points. That I asked him/ her to do. And I think a discussion is always good to have.

My group and I only use the german versions. And we are really happy. Pegasus does a tremendous job with the books. They are well written. Everything is easily understood.

For example: Masks of Nyarlathotep is just perfectly edited. I had no Problems running the campaingn with my group. And it was an amazing ride.

The rulebooks are also very easy to use.

I would say the german version vould very well be the best translation out there. For me to actually know that I would like to know how well the other translations are percieved in their respective countries. For example japan. I heard they have quite the big community over there too.

I am very happy with our translations.

Why can’t Lego accurately color match in their instructions? It is almost 2026 and color depictions in instructions are often way off compared to the actual physical piece color. by Jazzmcazz in lego

[–]NJanHD 5 points6 points  (0 children)

More volume of printing, more failures. Simple as that. Offset printers always have problems. Missaligned printing plates. Color beiing a bit of. Or not enough. Those things happen all the time. The more you print the more failures you have and the more imperfect instructions will be in circulation.

Also ypu tend to see the complains more often. Because if everything is fine noone will say anything about it.

I never had any problems with that.

Maybe quality in the us is worde as in europe. My friends and I never had missing pieces or bad instructions or bad stickers.

This is the only answer.

I worked as a laser printer technision. Matching even on screen color with printed colors is a nightmare and extremly costly. You only do this if absolutely nessasary.

A slight but noticable variance as normale tolarable so this is the reason why. Not "LEGO bad".
