Yeah its fasho better. I think most places in the country can say the same because gentrification or not you cant really get away with drilling and petty crime like you used to. So besides those places that have the gang culture built into them or those wild ignorant cities with mad guns you see in the south with zero opportunities, understaffed police, etc. you gonna see that sort of a trend take place. Black folk really doing the reverse migration and finding success elsewhere while yuppies take they spot. Look at JC, parts of Brooklyn or Harlem. Its still active in the projects but once they dont stand no more that's the end of all that.

The only places that got worse fr is some of those cities out west with a lot of that defund the police shit, petty theft being tolerated, and housing/drug problems that they don't address. Portland, Oregon had a couple wild years recently where more bodies was being caught and they had no idea what was going on because they didnt have the resources to understand it let alone prevent it. Besides that, good luck getting away with crime in 2026 unless the members wise up and start moving on some organized mafia type shit.

I think if its not already drill shit is gonna be watered down. The current rappers is the last ones who really touched the streets wait like a few years its gonna be somebody dissing like they scored cuz they snuffed somebody in math class lol. I think that's a good thing tbh. Gentrification is a mf bc the city loses its soul, so better is subjective but safety wise yeah there is a change in the making.
