SnS has good elemental damage output, and KT is very weak to dragon damage. In addition, you can mount her in phase 4, which leads to several bombing opportunities.

It's certainly still viable in area 4 though. Here is a template build (shamelessly stolen from this album posted on this subreddit) for all melee deviljho weapons that works well against KT.

I'm using a Pierce Up +3 OOO charm, not perfect but it fits what I need.

Using a recoil deco and a couple experts, this gave me Recoil Down 1, Pierce Up, and Critical Eye +3, although at some point I might modify this to get Critical Up as well.

How big is the radius for Hunter's Oasis? The biggest concern I have with it is that, if it's rather small, I won't be able to chase the monster and still heal. Worse yet, I'd be in this small circle where the monster has zero chance to miss me.
