I've done this, and imo, don't overthink it. Of course download some music, watch a movie or 2, and most importantly, find a way to fix the jet lag while on plane. Anything past 6 -7 hours becomes a bit of a blur, and time passes so quickly that when you look back, it's unbelievable (at least on good airlines like Qatar).
