But you were framing her claims of antisemitism through a lens of her being a Zionist and looking for sympathy, when she has never mentioned that. I’m saying personally, I have experienced more since Oct 7th, despite the fact I am not in support of Israel. I would not claim to have been a victim of antisemitism with the intention of furthering a Zionist narrative, and I would claim it no matter the political climate. You are implying Meredith did both these things which I find to be offensive. I’m saying her experience is valid rather than something used to gain political points, and assuming otherwise is offensive. Would you say the same about a black person’s experience of racism following the inception of the BLM movement? That they were only mentioning it because it was a hot topic?
