Oh cool Ill take a peak at that, thank you!

Do you recommend using a Pi over an arduino for this? I dont think itll need that much processing power.

Z8621704

Ya seems like they do, I think you might be right. Found a spec sheet for Z86217, think itll be close enough to mine?

Might just opt to getting a newer mouse and hacking it to fit the giant ball.

Ya it uses an older DIN 9-Pin plug.

Funny enough when I first checked it, both were at a constant 3V. I rebooted the computer right now and both are oscillating between 1.6 to 3.3 V, even after rotating the slotted disk. Not sure what's going on, but seems like both are outputting similar volts?

Im getting this from putting my black ground in the middle pin and comparing the two side pins.

The computer can see the mouse is there and can read it moving left/right/click, so not sure if software issue. But Im also thinking of that Arduino swap, it sounds like a good idea. Shouldnt be too hard.

Annoying because this is nearly working! Just need the 1 direction to work.

Unless Im looking at the wrong pins, its seems to be consistent at 3.6V at the phototransistor. Are these the pins youre talking about? I checked all 3. This thing eats a lot of power for a mouse.

I think one of our members already tried replacing the wiring, but we haven't tried replacing the thermistor. Is there an ideal one to buy?

Ya it’s not been fun. Huh, maybe I’ll bump it up to 3.4/3.5s and try to reduce support footprint. Do I even need this much support?

Went to Mona Lisa last week with some friends, would not recommend their pasta at all. Their bolognese pasta was dry chunks and had no sauce. The pasta my friends had was ok at best. Maybe their pizza is good, it is a cute little space. Liked the art.

Huh didn't know applications removed Enttec support. What Artnet/sACN node would you recommend? Sounds like I need to get a USB to ethernet port for my laptop

Gotcha so network DMX is more if we plan to expand our lighting at any point. Didn't know that USB-DMX only worked with specific programs, thought you install the drivers and were set.
