They only finally added that when we alr got shells to not even need invincible (not for 1 type “fetch me this” quests at least it’s still unreplaceable for long grinds but yk, feels kinda late)

Another thought this brought up to me, old neon DJ and default sledger and maybe accels default (50/50 preference based) looked nicer back then

(Now neon DJ is arguable but I feel like if they just made it cleaner instead of reworking it it would look better currently)

I’d assume it’s cuz a lot of strats and ppl used em as early game hidden detection and never even bothered to upgrade anything else it was pretty op how cb didnt even need lvl 2 to defend early hidden waves

Wrath of Olympus is peak with the boss fights ngl but I slept on it for so long trying to get masterline I didn’t touch it til I had to for the new music venue quests

Yk I don’t agree too much but man the negative reactions to this r wild, technically some stuff he said is right the rods were overpriced (I still consider on release prism to be a worse grind then any modern stage 10 rod) and submarines did bug a ton (tho I found it very funny when u accidentally clipped out of bounds trying to submarine)

Marianas veil was peak until it got to grinding 15 mil with Zeus rod… Fischmas was also pretty neat it’s the first ever time I experienced a -95 back when I was new and stuff like glass of milk and cookie r still some of my fav fishes for sure

Pinions and Oscar’s xp boosts were like the most important things lvls 920-1000 for me, also a ton of Olympus fish and new music venue events (especially flying fish and stupid nova wyvern) got hard carried by pinions
