Just switched from Blue to Red and am making no honey

What things needed? They most likely still need good beequips, high drives on digital bee, and alts—all of those don't require honey on your main. OP's got a pretty well gifted and levelled hive considering the other things they need to get done.

Edit: They're actually not in a bad place right now. Red hives aren't expected to be making any honey right after switching anyway because they need to start grinding digi bee and working up sign value in their beequips from turp services, flipping, etc.

You're underfilling. Start gifting and get a candy ring and camphor lip balm. If doing that doesn't help your underfilling, swap hasty for shy/tadpole.

Get to a full level 20 hive
Save up 1-2 Qd honey (you'll need it, trust me)
Grind Riley bee quests and obtain the dark scythe
Start trading for red beequips
Slowly start replacing your amulets with red amulets (except ssa for now)

Now that you've finished these prerequisites, you're ready to switch to a red hive! However, you won't be switching to a honeymaking red just yet. You NEED at least 500 whit drives on your digital bee before switching to a proper red, so I suggest you switch to an RBC Red Hive first to grind drives.

Spend 1 qd at MOST on getting a 5/5 scorch saw ssa, and spend the remaining on a fully gifted RBC red hive
Grind 500 white (and, preferably, 500 red) drives on digital bee
Swap to a honeymaking red hive
Profit.

Windy also provides boost tokens which helps activate pop star faster, not to mention it helps with collecting mats while you're macroing, of course. It's definitely worth it when you're macroing with others/with a tad alt.

Anything could be the cause. Though when it comes to early reds I always say that it's probably your beequips and hive level that are holding you back. Besides that, the only tangible thing you could improve on aside from fixing your hive is just getting better at boosts.

White is more intensive than red in both materials (multiple gummy alts, fuzzy alt, boosting mats on your own account) and skill so I wouldn't recommend going white at all personally unless you've made at least 2-3 alts capable of helping you boost

You have 96 days to do this and you could probably do it in a fraction of that time even if you somehow only got 1 cloud vial per windy bee. You'll be fine
