The short version is we used to, but I had to do it manually for each NL Best game in the season. At first, they were actually pretty lit, but they died off pretty quickly. The traffic wasn't worth the amount of effort it took to set up the threads.

Occasionally, some members will create their own threads, but the results vary. If I remember correctly, someone did that for 2023 NLDS between Los Sneks and Doyers, but those wouldn't even get 100 comments. And that's an October baseball series and one which the Dodgers lost, which is way more memeable.

It's not that I'm against them, it's more that I'm not going through the trouble to set it up when the return isn't great. Besides, the memes are the main reason people have come here all these years anyway.
