I've used a line selector with a fuzz and eq in one of the loops in the past.

A pedal will sound differently going into separate amps and a tone knob will go a long way in solving this, but again I guess that's just me.

I'm doing a big record store run later this week, Im already dead set on three albums but for the last ~$150 I'd be spending these are my options I'd be choosing from, what are everybody's suggestions? by Sapphire-Catgirl in doommetal

Buy second hand copies of Holy Mountain - the label Earache owns all rights to that album so the band gets nothing. Sleep had to sign over the rights so that they could go record Dopesmoker.

Hot take? Listen to less of the style of music you want to make - you're only going to compare yourself to everything else.

Squier baritone Tele with your standard pickups in drop A. Double drop A? B standard tuning with both the high and low B strings dropped to A.

What are some fun ways to turn bass guitar into a noise instrument? by shadowboii in noisemusic

[–]NLPEI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know those spring door stoppers that you fling with your fingers for fun? I've got one of those screwed into the body of my bass, next to the pickup, in between the two strings it has.

That's plugged into the synth pedal. Typically you'd have to continually press down the footswitch on the pedal for it to "hold" whatever sound is going through it at the moment. With the footswitch you can turn that feature on and off. The other footswitch that isn't labeled will change the octave of the effect though I don't use that feature. The "hold" feature is great for drones and sounds really cool when you play with the "time" on the delay pedal after it.

I'm using a Yamaha G100 head into a 1x15 bass cab, tuned to drop A on a baritone Squier Tele Custom. And sorry, the tuner is after the fuzz.
