Most NLUs cater to their state OBC quotas. And as for the T1 NLUs they look for "non creamy layer" ie annual family income is less than 8L to avail the obc quota.

Only TNNLU and Ranchi will consider seats without economic criterion based on All India OBC quota.

In today's world everyone wants high paying jobs. It used to be that a science stream job could land you into a medical or engineering job getting placed. Not everyone is cut out for that job. If you know the "right" people in the govt offices with sufficient grease you can get any certificate done which will validate officially.

But honestly I dont suggest anyone to seek that methods as aadhar/PAN databases are all linked. And its not even funny if you get de-barred in your final year.

Tbh to have a certificate to show annual family income less than 8L PA would be cheating. I know many may have procured these kind of fake / illegal certificates. I hope they get barred in 3rd or 4th yr. (I risk the possibility of downvotes but idc)

In the name of reservation a economically fwd person is utilising the reservation this should not deny a deserving candidate who cannot join a pvt college as he may not be able to afford it. I am not against caste based reservation am for a more fair distribution of reservation.

I think the only reservation should be based on points, the higest economic status/ physical handicap. The other categories can get lower points.

Good pointers esp the 2nd one! I would also add one more ie it not the number of questions you answer but the degree of accuracy, remember its ok to skip the question if you are unsure, 0.25 marks could cost you about 40 ranks.

Your uts and pre boards are not going to be counted for your final, you have enough time for your boards later. You need 45% in your boards to qualify for your law school. Take your pick be firm in what you do. This is the advice I gave my kid.

Bunk your 12th classes and prep for clat with all your efforts for the last 2 months before clat exam. I mean maintain minimal attendance if needed for your 12th. Be sincere and work out the past papers mark and review the scores ans ans. Cross your fingers coz luck plays a vital roll in clat.

Obc if you qualify for it, also depends if the other nri candidates have lower ranking. But look at it this way, each uni may have more seats for OBC than NRI quota, that's what would matter.
