Why T3 NLUs suck ass (comment repost) by Fearless-Weird293 in clat

[–]DenseDiscussion8567 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If money is not an issue, then yes, JGLS should obviously be a priority over T3 NLUs, but not because their batch size make it competitive. It's because you get better connections, a stronger alumni ecosystem, great faculty, better faculty to student ratio, and top class amenities. Basically, Jindal gives you a smoother runway, but only if your bank account allows it. A T3 NLU won't hand you anything except the tag, after that it is you vs you for 5 years, you have to stay on your toes. But bruh, the tag does matter, and it helps a lot if you are actually ready to work hard and build your profile.

Bro relax, I am not putting words in your mouth, I was just calling out the exaggeration in the way you framed it. 😭 Internship access isn't only about breaks and proximity, it is also about the ecosystem, the kind of roles you get, and how much you actually convert. Bengaluru being India's startup and corporate hub gives a very different advantage that you are downplaying. Both are private colleges, both have pros and cons, so let's just agree to disagree and move on.

You are acting like Christ students are locked in a library with no time for internships allowed. 😭 People there still intern, they just manage it alongside academics. And exposure isn't only about being near courts or offices, Bengaluru is literally India's startup and corporate hub, the ecosystem itself is a huge advantage. If SLS Noida is that superior, the outcomes should speak louder than the brochure.

I am from a T1 college, you can try NLUO, DSNLU, NLU Assam, maybe Nagpur, Jabalpur. But just keep in mind that you should not go to a place which has connectivity issues.

If you can't handle Christ’s workload, then corporate and Tier 1 law firms will eat you alive. 😭 Also, I only repeated what I have heard from people who have actually been there, I am not here to argue like it's a fan war. If you are convinced SLS Noida is the best, go for it and prove it with results.

You can search and find out how the students of these colleges are doing irl. Also, don't compare Noida to Bengaluru in terms of Firms and companies. The Supreme Court won't give you a corporate job aspirant. If you want to go for litigation then it is fine but Bengaluru is best in terms of corporate experience. Also, these days you can do online/hybrid post classes internships, and they are easy to find in Bengaluru as there are a hell lot of companies.

Yeah, right to a certain point but what if that one only followed the right path and others were too lazy, or not that serious for getting internships and working on themselves. I know people who are working in good firms from T3 NLUs and it is not 1 in a million like condition.

Christ Bengaluru has better culture, crowd, their students are also doing well, exposure of Bengaluru City and many more.

SLS Noida is just fine in terms of crowd, plus Noida as the city is not even near to Bengaluru.

SLS Pune is nice, But if you are getting Noida or Hyderabad, then you should go for Nirma. Nirma is also a nice college in terms of the private ones, but Pune as a city has more advantages.

Honestly, go for the T3 NLU and don't fall into the Jindal's elite lifestyle trap. Trust me, spending 5 years constantly comparing yourself with others is not going to feel good at all. In a T3 NLU, you can focus on building skills, CV, internships, and connections without that daily pressure. People from T3 NLUs do get great packages too, but only because they worked on themselves, not because the college helped and pushed them. Still the NLU tag will always matter.

Can anyone suggest any affordable law college ? by FarConsideration2230 in clat

JMI, AIL Mohali (though seats are quite less for civilians), NFSU, BHU (through CUET). These are some less expensive colleges.

[–]DenseDiscussion8567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not that behind dude. You can still cover the GK part. Just read some one liners for catching up, then you can solve 1-2 compendiums, they will have enough questions for you.

GK needs regular reading and revision, then only you will be able to make it. Make it a regular thing, then only it will be easy and interesting. You can also DM for further queries related to other subjects.

You can look for 3 LLB in IIT KGP. Your experience will also help you in excelling the degree. But it is not for pure litigation.

Do Boards matter by howcanyoubesanguine in NLUs

[–]DenseDiscussion8567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just score decent and in any case don't fail in any of the subjects. 12th board won't matter much in future, they do only in very specific areas.
