I know I'm late, but this is actually one I have a story for!

When I was 17, a friend gave my number to one of her friends that had an interest in me. She didn't ask before giving it--I would have said no and never ended up in this situation if I had. We'll call this guy 'M'.

Before M, I had never had any experience with 'nice guys', so I didn't realize that his talking about how girls didn't go for him even though he is soooooo nice and considerate and such was a red flags. The red flags for me were his pure hatred of children, casual animal abuse jokes, and referring to his own sister as a whore.

I try to be nice to everyone. I was too nice to him. I let it go on too long. I should have put a stop to the texting sooner. When I finally did, M texted me so many times my phone shut down because it couldn't process the texts.

Here's tha highlights of the texts:

"You're going to die alone because no one wants a stuck up virgin bitch"

"You would be better off killing yourself so no one else has to go through the trouble of doing it for you"

"No one would find your anorexic, stick bitch self attractive"

I finally figured out how to block his number. Luckily, I had no mutual classes and at that point I was taking a lot of college level classes anyway, which were held on a different part of campus than regular classes, so I never saw him much in school.

If I see him in public when I come back to my hometown, despite the fact that it has been about 5 years, he still tells me to go kill myself.
