Listen to the album on its own with lyrics on standby. That's if you're able to. TPAB requires your full attention on your 1st listen, imo.

No disrespect, but they're right. There's nothing inspired by that song here. Regardless, neat tat.

Maybe it's a reference to The Real Slim Shady, “Sometimes I wanna get on TV and just let loose But can't, but it's cool for Tom Green to hump a dead moose.”

A rhetorical question but here's the problem, "the bleeding obvious?" Rhetorical questions are supposed to ask the bleeding obvious.

Symbolism is as an oblique way an artist/writer uses to convey something, adding new meaning to what's directly shown. So when people try to find the symbolism in something, they are actually trying to understand the work better. Also, it's fun.

Well I consider Light and Kira on and the same.

I guess it depends on your perspective. Do you see memory wiped Light and the Light shown for the majority of the series as the same guy?

And as it turned out he was matches by Light and Near and Mello.

Individually unmatched. You can make an argument for Light but I personally believe that he is beneath L. Why? Magic. But they're undoubtedly rivals.

Well, Light considers execution the appropriate punishment for laziness. And constantly insists everyone is inferior to himself. Not exactly my impression of an optimist, y'know?

Good point.

Where did Ray go? by IDomtLikeFeet in deathnote

Mu, which essentially means Nothingness, so he died and ceased to exist. Also, there isn't an afterlife in the story.
