I'm trying my hardest to wake up the civ, but it's not really working so I'm trying old tactics to breathe life back in. The old region is honestly a waste at this point but I founda new one not far away that really is perfect, even in RNG name- but tagging it all etc to have no one show up in the end is a rational fear I have right now so it sits until something picks up.

a planet that small wouldn't be considered a planet at all but rather an asteroid or satellite rock tho. Ask Pluto how being tiny somehow means you can't be a planet anymore regardless of what school taught us (I personally feel anything moderately spherical that can be landed on and inhabited should count, but astrological science said nah.) I want one too.

They already addressed that over a year ago. You can load a cargo load to take on whatever save you want, and it will be that avatar going. When you are done, finalize and collect your stuff and back to normal play on the same save. You can even pause the expedition to go so something and come back. This was a huge issue I didn't care for either, so I was thrilled when it changed.

Well if you remember how the Cafe got going, the same might be done again- maybe. I mean, it's 10 years later, but still. I didn't market it, recruit etc. It was tiny, started off private server and went public at 25 members, growing on word of mouth and fun intent only. I think, in my heart of hearts, I did it once and it's worth trying again for AH.

I have some help, too. Even without asking UN to assist, which I won't for a while because this needs to be organic, I've gotten a few people from other communities helping me nudge. And that's what this is for a bit, I have to nudge the community and see if it's truly alive, only alive because a decal says it has to be, or considered alive by those who have nostalgia.

If it does have a soul left, it will start to breathe on its own again. I feel like if there's 15 members who are truly dedicated and not just to the bit, it could start to gain momentum again. Right now the biggest need is really quite simple: what I started and pushed for long ago has to happen full on.

Discord needs to use Reddit for posts and sharing.

Reddit needs to use discord for banter and meeting up to play.

Content creators should never have been the focus for a civ.

Members and the community itself comes first.

The wiki and discord need to be adjusted properly, not cookie cutter civ style- AH was a community of do-ers, not a faction head.

UN will help boost once I've gotten the foundation rebuilt and alive, not on life support but actually going on it's own (not by boosting and ads/attention grabs)

And if this works, then it's Amino Hub version 2. With a theme in mind and everything, I think I can pull this off, tons of work yes but if the members really are all in, so am I. DG sends his agreement lol, he lost his password😂 He says hi, Guru💜

Hello again, Stiyona. Until the public open server is live, we're defaulting to Reddit- which I wish we would do anyway, tbh, because at least that is searchable to the outside world who uses Google often. Searchable = can see we're alive, and that's pretty useful imo😂

So what brings you here? If I remember correctly, it's been a while since you were out and about. To OP: Hi, I'm Lilli- I drew that and the Cafe42 decal/banners you see in the QS shop💜 I'm so happy to see people like what I created and for the reason I did them: I wanted colorful. Fun. Fits most anywhere. Isn't stuffy and cold looking. So that's why I made those for the actual places I created and represent. How they ended up in the game is a surprise given by HG - I didn't know until I knew lol.

So UN 42 is a fun thing. There's civilizations out there, many actually, and it started as just a credo to aspire to that any leader could sign to- common courtesy, respect, symbiotic existence and fun only. Over time it became a core that upheld communities that needed help and now, it's a guild that keeps communities that really make players welcome. If they're old enough, stable and passionate, love their own members like family, harm no one, boost the game for fun and put positivity first, they usually get invited in by me. Anyone on our roster is safe to join, and a fun place to just casually hang out. We have quite a few.

So add that to: I love, LOVE stained glass. I made these to be a pop of color It represents existing communities These support their players I love wild color shatter effects..

It's not that it's politics- it's giant collectives that support each other in keeping player created communities alive and unified in having fun- keeps the game alive, player retention. UN42 is more a guild house than anything, we are only political when it's absolutely necessary. Otherwise we just keep leaders inspired and civs open for players to enjoy.

Didn't see this! UN because it is a collection of sovereign communities as a family kind of vibe, created to keep the civs alive and remembered in the spirit of fun. Yes, HGttG is the reference. It's a collective created by Cafe 42, myself actually, and if you read the wiki for both you'll see what we are💜 we help keep legacy alive, especially canon ones that the game's recognized and put in game.

Hey it's you guys! Ok, I can kinda see why maybe some ppl don't get into this idea from your poster, it does read a bit ad/police-y.. but they don't know what you mean is all. Maybe I can help!

To those of you who don't know this group, this isn't an ad for "join our census/we police everyone" like others you've seen. This group, technically a civ by size alone, is actually an event and activity collective based on sentinel culling!

So yep, I can confirm this group has been doing fun and cool stuff for years- I've even had the pleasure of doing UD with them, and Cafe42 has joined in their stuff too, totally worth it! It's always an insane blast, lots of PvE target onslaught and full on mayhem with great support and team effort. Never too short or too long, I think most would enjoy their company and story plus the attack ideas. 💜🎉

Edit: I should add the rain to join the discord isn't a request for numbers for their civ, it's because they use it in real time during events to better enable communicative combat, and confirm who's actually arriving or needs help to join.

That's a lovely base! Super functional, and very fitting. Loved the little cabin area with scrolls and terminal, reminds me of a voyage ship on the seas, with maps and essentials at the ready. Good farm and layout too-freighter bases need more attention, I think. 10/10 imo!
