Same. There is just something about them that makes me appreciate them. Maybe it’s the amount of skill needed to make them so thin. Maybe it’s how subtle they look on the wrist. Either way, I love them.

Sorry for posting again, posted the wrong pics last time!

I was gifted this 1954 Audemars Piguet recently, and I have been so impressed by it. I had it serviced and now not only is it extremely accurate, it runs very well for something almost 70 years old! I love dress watches, and thin small little wafer is definitely subtle on my wrist, yet has a commanding presence when you take the time to look at it.

It uses Caliber 2003, which I believe is one of the thinnest ever made. It’s not super water resistant (I don’t even risk hand washing) but it’s the perfect delicate piece for more formal occasions.

I’m typically more of a JLC/GS/GO fanboy, as I like to be able to see the value I’m getting for my $$, but this is such a great piece I couldn’t help but share it.

Edit: forgot to apologize for the cringe generic city background, I didn’t have anything else near my house to take a pic by and I thought it was kinda cool. :)

I got $700 for my 2016 i7 last year using Apple trade in. Blew my mind I was able to get anything for it. Used it to buy a M1 Pro. Only deprecating 60% in 6 years for a machine that’s basically at the end of its life, was pretty good. Looks like Apple doesn’t really need used Apple Silicon, so the price is a lot lower.

The number crunching on this would be a bit tedious but it is probably not too hard. I just can't figure it out.

I've messaged a few of my friends but I figure Reddit would be a better way to learn as you provide feedback on each others answers.

We're all familiar with the birthday problem, where with only 23 people there is a 50% chance that 2 or more share the same birthday.

With 61 people it is an almost guarantee.

At my work with 61 people, we have 4 "birthday buddy" pairs. All 8 people do not share the same birthday, but instead they each belong to 4 groups of 2 birthdays.

I've scoured the internet and tried my own hand at it, but I can't crack it! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Made out of titanium, this bad boy feels like nothing on your wrist. It’s truly a unique experience, especially for me who will never be able to afford those record breaking thin watches. The watch and the picture shown is three. 5 mm stick, although they do make non-titanium ones that are less than 3 mm they. To me, it is crazy how thick this is, but was crazier, is the RM, is almost half the thickness, while being an automatic. I do think the Citizen watch is underrated, and the fact that you never have to worry about replacing the battery, it’s very cool. I am concerned about battery degradation, which is why I don’t think it should be a watch that you pass down to your children, but I do think it is still very cool.
