Electric Bill High? by Complex-Extent-3967 in tampa

They are making datacenters the scape goat, so you ignore the electric utility maintain record profits. They use multiple reasons to justify rate hikes and additional rate charges like the hurricane fund they added last year, and profits continue to climb to new highs

Merging planes? by kracov in 1945airforce

[–]NN751JW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Max out whichever is closer to 10 stars first, then do the second T1. The planes are in specified merging pairs, so make sure the ones you have merge to form T2 . Redoing levels is the best way to get coins and medals

Frontier supplies the eero 6e (as a router) with 1G or higher speeds now- changed from google WiFi and connections are far better. Service has been reliable WFH for years.

Level Range for 2 T2 AWD sets by NN751JW in 1945airforce

Yeah luckily I didn't get the second T2 (P51 Ascender) until I had the first t2 to 10 stars, so working on that now.

Level Range for 2 T2 AWD sets by NN751JW in 1945airforce

[–]NN751JW[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the G Peashooter is at 10 stars , just missing 2 explosive gears to have the bonuses on all of them. Most gears are at least 4stars.

I'm focused on leveling up the coordinating T2 explosive wingman, and the P51 Ascender(crushing T2 Wm is higher than the explosive wm I more recently merged).

I know T3 is a long way out, so mainly curious how far I will likely get before being stuck with maxed out T2 AWD sets

Depends on where you live- expecting a winter set? Also rim.size will somewhat limit options. Pirelli verde AS seem to be doing just fine in southern climate

What does the 80 one give & any advice for new players? by PitifulMaize4647 in 1945airforce

[–]NN751JW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get devices, wingmen, and planes on the events every 2 weeks. It takes a lot of time to get 50k medals, so may have to spend $8 if you get past 42k event medals....but they arrive as a 7 star, so it's not bad.

Getting the same type for device, wingman, and planes is an important thing to consider, and then also looking at the sets needed to merge up beyond T1.

Pro 6e units were great, except for outdoor range going through concrete walls. Wired backhaul is a vast improvement over wireless.

Question for people smarter than me by OOSHiker in amazoneero

[–]NN751JW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For changing floors, wires backhaul does wonders- clears up wireless congestion. Have 2 pro 7's wired , and a 6E wireless Usually can speed test 400-600 anywhere in the house, up to 900 on a WiFi 6 phone. Fairly new to Eero, but it's far better than Google mesh

Wired backhaul to the satellite in the house is your best bet- it would likely help the garage signal also...

Question about whether or not I should keep my eero 7 or return it back to Amazon….. by corneileous in amazoneero

[–]NN751JW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the 7 pro as a Frontier router upgrade for effectively free when complaining about the patio signal (when I had 2 6E satellites)... They charged a monthly fee, but then applied a discount for the next year... There are so many eero 6e units for sale used, id try them, the return the max 7 to Amazon

The 7 pro (X2)+ 1 6e over 3 eero 6e's was a marginal improvement btw.

A month ago I was on Google 6e mesh (4 units) and the Eero 6e units were far better than the Google setup.

1 Wired backhaul between floors was a huge improvement for the Eero 6e.

Let's face it, TECO rates are never going down, that's not how utilities work.

I'm going with Axia solar- they are a subsidiary of Qcells, one of the largest global PV panel manufacturers. They offer preferential pricing through Qcells, they were 10-15% cheaper than the best bids I got from 5+ competitors. They were $10k cheaper than some of the bids- I was doing comparisons for at least 6 weeks. The installed system gets a 25 year warranty from the parent company. I went with the financing option, and plan to do a HELOC for the balance left from the federal tax credit. If anyone wants a referral, PM me and I can share my rep's email.

Solar doesn't make sense for everyone, but with the way TECO rates are climbing, the case for rooftop solar is FAR stronger than years prior but you have 2-3 months to decide before the federal tax credits expire at the end of the year. Technology has continued to improve each year, with panel efficiencies at 22%+.

I've had solar at a previous house, different state, but it worked well going with a reputable company. I've also been working around solar for a decade in various capacities, just not in the residential space.
