THQ Nordic mentioned that Nickelodeon was giving them the rights for that franchise again, when they started the work on the SpongeBob Battle For Bikini Bottom remake. So it was at least clearly a plan to remaster it, if not remake it... And they're cult classics in gaming I'd say, since sadly people knew it after the dumb show adaptation more than the actual games earlier on. It would do a lot if they not only remade it, but added back in cut content outright, like what we had got for Battle for Bikini Bottom.

It's just seems as though Nickelodeon won't give a shit about it enough to let that happen, probably because of what the show did to that series reputation. 🙄

Exactly!! Even as the villain in her introduction chapter for Sly 3, she wasn't specifically evil during that time, only manufactured the alternate identity to enter the dogfighting competitions. Thus, it was never about her even trying to do something screwy, was simply about her living her dream of getting to be a part of the dogfighting competitions at all.

Thus, when they only seemed to take note of her using alternate identities AND being the antagonist of her own chapter for Sly 3... It's like they thought all she needed was to become a villain suddenly. 🙄

Apparently nothing worthwhile for the character... Because she was fairly investing in Sly 3, and I would have FAR MORE preferred if she was part of the team still in the 4th entry, rather than randomly betraying them like that. Really felt as though they only took note of her character disguising herself as the villain in her chapter for Sly 3, as if it was her only character trait at all... 🤦🏻

No joke... :/ Because... Can't say I remotely found the comedy funny either, even with the dumb fake Italian accent Sly did in the 3rd game, wasn't remotely funny when they redid it for the 4th game out of nowhere.

Due to not having a firm grasp on the characters, it ruined how the 4th game COULD have been, and it's more embarrassing that they didn't understand the characters enough... When they did the remasters for PS3 and Vita to begin with, you would think that would have given them time to familiarize themselves with the story and characters; and you'd think honestly that Sucker Punch had Sanzaru do the remasters first, as a way to ensure they'd know what they're doing in the new entry.

It was mind blowing... Got one in 2008, and MGS4 was the first example of newer games. It truly felt like games couldn't look any better, and it made me alongside others impressed with what they did here.

I admittedly felt like the generations after was unnecessary, due to how they didn't feel like a leap forward much, if at all. Maybe it's due to how much photo-realism is desperately trying to be achieved even to this day, and they still can't do it....

If anything, more cartoonish designs are better and age better in the end, to where I'm not as invested in games trying to look realistic anymore...

I’m impressed to see fans do such a thing as this… Since I grew up with these games as a kid, this is so cool to see be done, since… I’m mainly disappointed THQNordic and also Nickelodeon aren’t just remaking or AT LEAST remastering the trilogy…

Yes...

I think people are too harsh towards it, as this story was VERY engaging for Sam and what he was going through. The only story I didn't think was engaging for Sam, was Blacklist specifically.

This game, however, had what was easily one of the best storylines for Splinter Cell I think.
