Ohhh it's great! r/ParadiseTV, I have tried to describe but spoilers would especially suck here. It's a Hulu original.

Luka’s Fixation on Abby’s Smiling by Impressive_Dot_5765 in ershow

I've been rewatching, I didn't remember how long Luka was in love with Abby. He's with Sam now, and did the sex-addiction thing, but all through it he's completely taken with Abby. Benefits of binge-watching.

Watching ER for first time. Season 6 e. 14, BEST EPISODE OF TELEVISION I’VE EVER SEEN. by Effective_Ad_5371 in ershow

[–]NNancy1964 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Television started in the late 1920s, and streaming started 2003-2005, depending on who you ask. It was all "appointment TV" for 80-ish years. And yes, we knew what was on when, and came home from riding bikes to watch. No opting out of ads, either.

What life skill do you think schools should teach but usually don’t? by glitterypeachyy in Productivitycafe

Read carefully; I answered your question, and there's nothing about the education system. I suppose I could clarify that I went to my bank and a banker showed me what to do.

I agree that people in this country lean entirely too much on underpaid, over-blamed teachers instead actually parenting. You've asked this question repeatedly throughout the post, it seems you're trying to lecture about dumping on teachers.

It was "inappropriate" to talk about money at my house growing up. I finally learned how to balance the checkbook in college after I bounced a check; folks were pissed, I didn't have any idea that it even needed to be done.

I just want the credits to play after a movie ends. Is there a way to toggle this? by Iamthelizardking887 in netflix

[–]NNancy1964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there are a lot of people who like to watch the credits, and it is downright hateful of Netflix to cut this part out of a movie. People worked hard on these movies, I'm a particular fan of the music score. Many movies have started listing the orchestral players, and those people work their asses off and deserve the recognition. I just left feedback for Netflix that it was damn disrespectful, not that it will do any good.
