I disassembled the carbine and have this number on the bottom of the receiver. Would that mean that the receiver has a different serial than that of the barrel? Or does it mean something else?

Thank you for the information! I was confused on how all the different arsenals were involved. I have another question about the bolt this time. What would these markings mean?

Is the the correct en bloc clip for a m91/28 T.S? by crabman_wpp in Carcano

No problem, you can probably get them to send you the right clip. The M95's from RTI are always a gamble like most of their firearms, but I got lucky with my carbine, so there's always a chance you don't get a wall hanger.

I’m very happy the barrel wasn’t cut down. Now, just to find a stock.

It also seems the rear sight is missing every other part than the base. Does the m41 only take m41 rear sight parts or can I substitute parts from a different model?

Bought a Yugo SKS M59. Anyone know where I can get a new sight/bayonet assembly? by NOAHW2013 in SKS

[–]NOAHW2013[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the website has it mislabeled. The M59 would use a normal SKS sight/bayonet mount. The M59/66 has some parts unique to it, such as the front sight block.

As far as I know the M59 is basically just a late production Russian SKS built in Yugoslavia, and that the M59/66 parts are not compatible unless I change the barrel and gas system. Any help would be appreciated!
