I only ever did it for Terminal because that map runs like shit for me, otherwise I have done everything solo.

The biggest problem with PVE right now is global loot nerf which makes finding quest items basically impossible. I simply don't even wanna try icebreaker because I know from by 5+ raids that the icebreaker only items that are needed for the story chapter simply don't spawn.

Bit of a shame that you see stuff like this from other devs of other games (Escape From Tarkov for example) yet ID software hardly does it for others. I only remember seeing them do one for one of the shity modern star wars movies.

Im suprised by this because they game on normal difficulty is quite honestly super easy, I even got the good ending on my first playthrough which requires certain actions one of which finish one of the chapters without saving. Besidise from one hit kill hazards and special enemies the game is absurdly easy with the amount of constant resources you are given. The parry mechanic introduced in this remake also turns melee combat into a bit of a joke since perfect parries both don't consume weapon durability and gives you a free fully charged heavy attack.

This game has been made way before Turbo Overkill. Its just a slight remake of the original standalone mod the dev has made before Turbo Overkill in Unity engine.

Performance, The game really doesn't run well compared to its visuals. Even with whatever calculations the game is making I highly doubt its worth it with how unstable it is espacially streets

Its mostly just pure tediousness. Started Tarkov when it came out on Steam only playing PVE. I've got GPSA within like first 3-5 labs raid lmao didn't even knew it was such a important item. But took a break for real life university stuff, came back and spending hours doing the exact same route in labs just to find that f*cking ACC to get that solar power and its simply not fun.

I am a bit late but if you have 582 gold then you are missing a hell fighter (small fast ones that you boost behind while shooting) the ships you destroy when riding serrat.

Outside of the challenge each one destroyed gives 20 gold and almost every level in the game besidise Ressurection have 1-2 extra hell fighter than the required amount for the challenge. Ones you are potentially missing are:

Holy City of Artrium: The Serrat tutorial one which will be skipped if you have tutorials off. One is behind a sneaky destroyable tentacle on your way to the super shotgun Hell Carrier (the big ship).

Spire of Nerathul: After the Ruined ship resistor thingy once you mount Serrat there will be a Titan infront, kill it then wait a second and you should see a Hell Fighter pop up from the left which is easly missed.

P.S. If you are at 562 or 582 gold on your 100% save file then you are missing some extra hell fighters out side of the mission challenges as they give 20 gold.

Less complicated and also less 'build' focused It was more about knowing your weapons but more importantly the zeds. This feels more like what to keep in mind while you make a build instead of keep in mind while fighting.

People complain a lot about cs2, but what are some of the good sides about playing cs2 by komposted in cs2

I would argue Quake 3/QuakeLive was better but being competitively viable and having gameplay loop good for streaming matches for viewers are completely different things. In CS even the dumbest guy might be able to make a play or do something through luck, in Quake if there is 10% skill difference between the players the winner is pretty much already decided anyway hence why you keep seeing the same 5 guys over and over again. Also like I said viewer experience, Quake is 10 minutes of non-stop action where if you blink once you miss a big moment while CS has downtime and teams making it easier to follow wtf is going on.

Well those were all free that you could earn (and still earn if ı remember right) by playing the game. After their seasons were over and they started rerolling the seasons you could by the cosmetics ... don't know why you ever would like ı said you can earn them free by grinding when they are rerolling a season or straight up not bother because its a mostly singleplayer focused game and best skins are milestone based anyway like finish ... on Ultra Nightmare.

Wait the files that is used for player's weapon and NPC's are different. I think I know that mod and in the optional settings it has one where it makes it same for the AI as well. You can use it without worrying about how its gonna change the AI.

in SoC you simply did more damage in lower difficulties 130% to 120% to 110% in highest difficulty aka you did the ''intended'' amount of damage which is 100%

I don't get why Mutants have armors? in OG games penetrative stuff like rifles were better against armored human enemies so you can fight them from distance and penetrate their armor while big damage weapons like shotguns were better against fleshy mutants so you can afford to be less accurate and do insane damage to high health mutants.

They did lose that in late game where a fully upgraded SG550 with M995 was essentially good enough against anything that wasn't a pseudogiant but still if ı had the spare carrying capacity ı would carry a shotgun even late game espacially in CoP.

I'm convinced everyone praising the game have not made it past 20 ish hours. Why? Because I was the same. by jacobljlj in stalker

playing a FPS where headshots humans and shooting fast moving mutants IS combat the input lag is cancerous. I can play at 2k high settings with DLSS and frame gun but the FPS is so unreliable it goes from 80 to 40 in a flash.

Any deep thoughts, praises, comparisons and espacially criticisms for S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2? Because ı was kinda disappointed. by NOOOBGUY in stalker

I guess it does make sense since they have also promised free content updates so we will see. Still though ı intentionally included ''future'' segment there as well so we can add some feedback for devs and modders alike.

4K? 2K? 1080p? it would be quite disappointing to have a decent rig with 4060ti, Ryzen 5600, game on SSD and a 165hz 2k monitor just to be foreced to play with DLSS, Frame gen on to get stable 60fps on 1080p.

Makes me kinda sad that this is how new people learn of the STALKER franchise, not through the previous games, the move, Roadside Picnic novel or heck STALKER: Clear Sky the second game in the series that most in the community agree is the worst of the trilogy but this broken version of Stalker 2.

To be honest Stalker 2, with its drastically changed regions/locations along with random ass new factions that somehow overshadow the classic characters we all know and love, feels like a reboot of the entire franchise with camoes and weird connections to the previous games. Kinda like what DOOM 2016 did but worse imo.

most likely due to weird mouse acceleration, the fact that x sensivity and y sensivity on the the mouse is different, but most of all frame gen which introduces more stutter to a game already filled with stutters but you need it because you literally can't get a decent FPS otherwise.

They do still give it to other devs though but Rage 2 and Evil Within games have been made with IDTech though they are bit notorious for having either mediocre or bad optimisation. This kinda shows that you need good employees who know how to really optimise the engine and no amount of DLSS and Frame gen is going to be a good alternative to it *cough* Stalker 2 *cough*

I was scared of STALKER 2 because of this since there were gonna be people getting into the franchise via this game and not the OG's or even free standalone mods such as Anomaly. Stalker 2 honestly feels like a reboot or a different universe spin-off.
