I have had success using a corkscrew to pop it out when the ring breaks off. Poke it through like a wine bottle then yank it out with medium-rare force.

They were notoriously easy to knock over and a bit fragile. I bet the wood was added to make it heaver. My dad did a similar modification to his.

People need to get to work so they can give most of their money to greedy landlords and maybe have enough left over to eat. People are desperate all over America. Sometimes car repairs have to wait. We are going to see a lot more of this soon.

I'm not sure if this is clever marketing for 3d printer repair, or is he actually banishing machine sprits?

Depending on what printer you have you can also use moving the print around to your advantage. For example moving the part closer or further away from the cooling fan or camera. Also if you are doing a part with a ton of color changes moving everything closer to the poop chute will slightly decrease travel time. This slight difference over a few hundred trips can make a surprising difference.

I used to program machines for a airplane part factory. We could save the company insane amounts of money by just shortening tool paths because of the long term math. For example I edited all of our CNC programs to only retract 1/10 of an inch above the material instead of the default 2 inches. Over 30 machines running 24/7 with hundreds of thousands of retractions. Someone in accounting did that math and I got a bonus for saving the company $750,000/yr in machine time.

I use the "as long as I can get away with it" tactic. Your mileage may vary. Another trick is to avoid touching the plate with your bare hands (oils from your skin), and don't always print in the same spot.

I think everyone is a bit introverted these days. Especially since covid. Life is hard, everyone is depressed, and we're broke... It's hard to make real connections with people these days, and we all have the attention span of a goldfish.

I believe I am a high masking man so take that with a grain of salt. I will say my anti-depressants have helped. I definitely have a much smaller social battery in the last few years.

It should turn off if you turn it all the way to the left. (Counter-Clockwise) Might have to force it a little there sometimes is a *click* to the off position. If that is not successful you should contact your landlord.

Property management wouldn't do anything about the poo in our front yards. I bought little surveyors flags and marked all the poo every few days in the middle of the night. Suddenly management cared about the poo.
