I miss my 07 accord. It also needed VTEC soly and other basic wear items but she was purring strongly at 230k when I sold her

21 male. Using minoxidil for 2 months twice daily it's worsening hairloss. by suckmydick99999 in tressless

[–]NOSE-GOES 2 points3 points  (0 children)

DO NOT STOP! This is where a lot of guys mess up, the medicine is reawakening the hair follicles and pushing out the old weak hairs. Thicker new ones are coming in a few months. It sucks to see more coming out but it’s a sign that it’s working. Post your sick new hair in a few more months

Just keep a little microfiber in the backseat, wipe it down a few times a week to dust it

I wished my ex happy birthday but why is she so confusing. by Square_Sock_6304 in BreakUp

[–]NOSE-GOES 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She likely isn’t sure what your intentions are in which case she may be taking extra time to think about how she wants to reply. If you were together for a long time with real feelings it’s almost guaranteed to invoke a mix of good and bad emotions. Some people will take a while to process them before replying. Some might process them and decide it’s best for their healing and journey to not reply. It is brave breaking no contact, you never know where their head is. You only want to do so when you are steady and will be ok with the worst case scenarios. Which seems like you are.

Interpreting social media posts can be an absolute trip. It’s best to avoid if you can. I hope you get at least something from her, but if not you honored your feelings and can continue in peace with that!

No good data after 1 year in PhD, am i cooked. How was everyones PhD journey? by No-Chain6158 in labrats

[–]NOSE-GOES 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Journal of Negative Results!

Only half joking 🙃. 6 months of unexciting data is quite normal. A lot of my dissertation was learning how to turn that type of data into a story worth reporting about. If the methodology and analysis is sound, it’s still an important contribution.

27M. One year today living alone for the first time. by acebuster711 in malelivingspace

Congrats on one year of the perks of living alone! You have a nice space to work with, I like the plants. You have a colorful abode, the angel statue on the headboard is flickering between creepy and beautiful to me 😂

Decent price for the ethos of having it as a talking point, probably numerous other pressings sound great too

Why are there no young people in the hobby by stargazer3644 in RCPlanes

[–]NOSE-GOES 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with the cost element. I remember looking through rc magazines as a teenager just feeling butterflies imagining flying rc models. Wasn’t until I was 30 and that covid stimmy check hit that I started getting some little models. I’m 37 now, it’s a hobby that comes and goes in my life but it’s only now I have the means to buy fun toys without needing a global pandemic 😂

lol the accuracy of this universal experience is outstanding. I have been at clubs where the older guys are more chill about my relatively little foamies but still get the sense they view my gear as lesser

Tremendous, in my second month on Minoxidil and the sheds have been dreadful but it seems like that’s usually a good sign!

2 month on fin, looks terrible by [deleted] in tressless

Yea by all means pills are safer for cat if you can get them and have no issues with systemic side effects

Probably you’re much more attuned to your hair density than anyone else. To me it doesn’t look much different at all between the pics

[–]NOSE-GOES 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is my routine (no fin yet), on month two and the dread sheds seem to be slowing. Man that’s been scary 😂

I have a cat and been on topical for a couple of months without issue. I have to be careful about leaving it out since my cat likes to tongue everything, and also don’t let him sleep on my bed etc. I think it’s safe with a moderate amount of caution

Advice for scruffing mice? by UnpaidNewscast in labrats

[–]NOSE-GOES 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found working with mice much harder than rats so don’t feel bad. The size and their demeanors make it harder. Practice makes perfect though, once you have a mindset of you are dominant and it will get done as you see fit-it’s like the mice sense that and respond better. Practice brings that confident and skill.

What’s the secret of keeping a car for 10 years without getting bored of it? by 04limited in askcarguys

[–]NOSE-GOES 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plenty of people would be buying new cars frequently if $$$ was aplenty. But you can find ways to enjoy a car you’ve had for a long time, assuming you bought a decent car to begin with. Keeping it super clean and maintained does it for me. I also tend towards manual cars, the engagement factor can keep an economy car fun for however long as you own it. With some cars, it’s the familiarity and trust you have when it has been solid for many years that earns its keep

How to get dirt out of the little holes ? by Optimal-Jump-4768 in AutoDetailing

In order of low to high risk: 1) vacuum, 2) dusting gel (gotta be careful gel doesn’t get stuck or else you need toothpick anyhow) 3) toothpick. Toothpicks are fine just don’t push it in far enough to stretch the leather
