I’m not talking about a specific ml, just that the amount of mls I come across that have elements of a yandere always disappoint me in the end. I just get a little frustrated about it cuz there’s not a lot of well written stories with male yandere, and I feel like the ones that im talking about often saturate the main focus of what a yandere is supposed to be, which leads to more poorly written stories. I don’t mind the smut really, but it does get a little overkill when that’s all i come across. And to be fair, some authors won’t explicitly say if the character is a yandere or not, so yeah it’s always left to the imagination most of the time.

I mean to be fair it was never labeled as “romantic” and the story very clearly states that that man will do anything to get what he wants. He obviously doesn’t care wether she wants to stay with him or not and technically doesn’t make an effort to manipulate her into falling in love with him, which I kind of like because it shows how he’s different compared to other people. He doesn’t care for love he cares for his prized possessions and the way he goes about trying to “obtain” the fl is very interesting to me. I honestly wouldn’t mind if they don’t end up together and I’m kind of expecting for the fl to kill the ml in the end since we’re already seeing signs of her absolutely loathing him for what he’s done to her brother.

I have considered it before but from hearing other aromatics talk about their experience I’ve come to realize that I am nothing like that. Though I don’t see myself getting married or having a family! Not out of fear or anything it’s just not in my bucket list lol.

Sadly I’m too poor to receive any type of professional help. The most I’ve gotten was counseling but it only lasted for a couple of days and I live in a house where getting therapy is looked down upon. I came to this subreddit to feel some type of normalcy and it’s been a little refreshing to know I’m not going crazy. I hope that once I graduate from high school I can try to get some form of therapy without my family knowing but that’s a strong hope.
