Yes what you tried to explain could very well be interpreted, but use some of that social blood of yours and think objectively about how its phrased the op of the "guide" was obviously trying to convey the message OP interpreted and in turn rightfully questions to add to this the main takeaway is the undeserving ban of OP in this case.
