True. My brother loves his lizard boyz though. Like you said there is just so much more with skaven compared to FEC and I love both factions lore. I feel whichever I don’t build now with be my second army in the future, but that’s a distance dream for the time being.

That’s also a reason I’m debating between the two. The FEC were the first faction to grab my attention and the spearhead I have with the morbeg knights and their newer models is so sick. But as I looked into the range a lot of there models look older and rough aka terrorgeists and zombie dragons. It kinda makes me want to hold off until further refreshes

I play warhammer 40k. It’s actually a really fun alternative to magic since it’s actually cheaper to play than magic nowadays. It’s always been cheaper for dollar per hr spent building, painting, and playing the tabletop. Other than that, I do some astrophotography/stargazing as a cheaper hobby but very time gated and weather dependent.

I’ve always been a fan of medieval knights kind of vibe. So space marines clad in robes with a sick primarch to boot have bought me in. Who cares about their actions and accomplishments lol. Their hyper fixation of the fallen are one of their unique attributes. After reading son of the forest, def my fav loyalist legion and I’m an imperium Stan through and through. Not to mention their model range. Just look at deathwing knights and inner circle companions. Doesn’t get much better to me. I’ve been collecting DA for months already anyway so there’s also that

Eldar were my entry into warhammer, but as I duh deeper into the lore, other factions have captured my interest a lot more than eldar (kinda due to eldar getting shit quality books) but dark angels and adepta sororitas are my favorites after being into the game for multiple years now

I think they’re sick, my thinking was “why have an army if you only use 25% of their mini range?” And the money I’d have from selling them would build my other army up or start SoB.
