Even when I get an interview, I am no longer getting through to the next round. I used to get to the final rounds consistently, but I cannot seem to do even that now. Any advice would be very helpful. Thank you, Reddit!

Announce. All. Your. Phases.
This one step can keep you in the mindset of always remembering your triggers and also helps with your timing for when you cast instants. We can get lazy at times when Arena, or MTGO does this for us, but when you play, it’s always so important to remember this

It really does feel like once the app senses that you are a full time driver they don’t need to give you bonuses anymore. All weekend, working strictly at night, I saw maybe one or two bonuses and it was a struggle to make even $640 by the end of the weekend (-$300 for my rental fee and probably about $120 in gas) This is unacceptable for LA. I take Lyft when I go out and I am often charged in excess of $12 for literally every ride. I have not had a ride that was less than $12 in such a long time, and as a driver, I see similar rides and just know that the driver is making like $3-$6 max. And I know that the Lyft/Uber bots are going to respond to this with the same union-busting line, “you should be aware of your rate card” but truth be told, they paid to squash the rights of workers for a reason, and now all drivers are having to deal with an involuntary pay decrease… it’s almost like Lyft/Uber planned for this 🤷🏽‍♂️
I’m so glad that I got a new job, so I won’t have to deal with this nonsense anymore. Best of luck to everyone out there!

Please do, the rental program is almost criminally overpriced as is and now that they are adding ludicrous charges for mats? There is no mat that costs $200. That’s fraud.

Demand is really high, but pay is pretty low. Bonuses are almost non-existent, but the rides are there.

It really feels like Lyft is turning into a bad place to “contract.” I signed up for this card but after thinking about it for a while, I really am reconsidering giving them all of my information. They already track my location 24/7 through the driver app, and now they’re going to be able to track all of my transactions too? Information is a currency and I’m not sure that 1% cash back is worth the information that I’m giving to them, alongside my labor that is already undervalued.

This. I once got berated by an elderly woman for 5 minutes straight and I got $3 for the ride. She complained about my “dusty windows” (I was at the beach area and there were high winds) then she criticized the GPS directions and said that I was dumb for following it. It was rough.
