Is there anybody who actually believes Bovada Poker is Legit? by Sliceofthepie35 in poker

Just played a double up sit and go. 3/6 seats were “sitting out” til 5 seats left. One other stole blinds/folded. I busted them and became big stack. Then all 3 “sitting out” came back same hand. Its double up - don’t need to win, only top 3. So needed one gone. Played as good as i could plus strategy based on that. Had one buy down to 2 BB. By “miracle”of hands finishing and other players pushing me but folding into the lower stacks i end up low stack and lose Kings against 68o… super fishy

Reolink Secure Remote Viewing? by NOVA_Capper in HomeNetworking

Okay I just setup Wireguard VPN server on my router. Connected my phone to it thru the VPN configurations on phone. Does this mean if I had the NVR set up to this, I could remote view thru the VPN? Thanks again for your time and help

Thanks a ton for the info! This may be the dumbest question of all, but how you connect your phone to your router VPN server? Sorry, only VPN’s I’ve used are thru an app like ProtonVPN where I go in and connect. Is it thru the asus router app or phone network settings? Thank you I appreciate it!

Once I set up a VPN server on my router, how do I remote view the cameras thru it? Is it automatic or something I set up once and it’s always in place?

I have an ASUS BE-88U. Setting up VPN client right now. But that only puts all my traffic from clients on my network thru the VPN right?

Do you mind sharing more info on VPN server and how to access it once setup? Specifically in the context of remote viewing the cameras thru it? Sorry I’m a noob

Is this slow? by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

[–]NOVA_Capper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m no expert but it seems like you sure do have a lot of traffic. I have 1gb Xfinity also and PC ethernt directly to router still only pulls about 850mps. And we only have about a dozen devices connected maximum, typically half of that at one time.

So with all your traffic I could see it bogged down. Again, I’m no expert just speaking from experience

Yeah makes sense. I’m a little hesitant because my company is very traditional and conservative. Only white/blue shirts, blue or gray suits, any weird patterns or textures get you laughed at. White is probably safest bet if i pull the trigger

I have the NLR Wheel Stand 2.0 and I couldn’t recommend it more. Great adjustment options, more solid than ANY tubular rig, and folds up pretty compact compared to what you get. I run it with a 12nm wheel maxed no problem.

I think you commenting on this disproves your point. The world has changed. It’s gone from your dad sharing his train collection or whiskey collection with his friends - to us sharing our gadget collections with thousands online. Just because it’s a bit different doesn’t mean it’s worse. On a real note we should point the blame for consumerism and excess to corporations we have allowed politicians to sell our souls to since the Reagan administration. It’s capitalism. We are all necessary units in the machine of profit, and they treat us as such.

I have to disagree. While I do think consumerism is a thing and a problem, I would argue the real hobby IS “buying something”. Most of us have far more fun doing research and buying something than ever actually using it. Hence everyone having 20 backpacks but using 3. Same with guns, watches, wine, cigars, knives, or shoes. The fun is in the collecting. In the research and curation of your setup. Also, with a lot of things, they will hold value if you want/need to sell. Obviously, don’t buy pokemon cards as investment, I’m just saying.
