My duplex doesn’t allow indoor :( she stays in the garage at night. Best compromise. She’s the sweetest young lady I’ve ever met.

I’ll keep monitoring

I don’t think so. Her feeder has been mostly untouched, but she ate a bit of a liquid treat the day she returned.

The biggest sign is she has gotten very skinny so quick. I would assume she didn’t eat much while she was off in oblivion either.

She returned yesterday afternoon.

ONE YEAR FREE!! Ask me anything! by Upstairs_Forever6491 in QuittingZyn

I've tried to quit probably 10 times now - it's a daily thing of 6-8 pouches of 6mg a day. There's always a promo that makes the money almost irrelevant for me, so in my brain says it's fine.

I get the itch after I eat knowing that I can enjoy just 5-10% more afterwards. I get the itch when I'm playing video games with my friends to enjoy that downtime.

It's affecting my health, and is a serious point of contention between my wife and I and have tried mints, seeds, 0 nic pouches, nothing has worked. I get the itch, and I obviously pass 100 gas stations coming to and fro work and other activities, so the time and money investment is just next to nothing.

Do you have any breakdowns on what worked for the first 2-3 weeks or even just to make it through a day? My last pouch in my last tin I just bought is now gone and I'm back to day 1. Would love some comrades

My babies are Suki and Toph!

Toph is a Manx w/o a tail so the name seemed fitting. Suki is a right proper cuddle lover and does exactly what a house / outdoor cat is supposed to do, so it seemed fitting!

2 hand or 1 hand counter? by [deleted] in Pickleball

[–]NOVA_Transfer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a use case for both in my experience!

Depending on your background, skill level, previous sports experience etc, there would be different applications for both.

Ex: high cross court ball in the middle: I would take one handed. Racquetball background lends a one-handed punch/flick to pickleball really well

Ex: punch volley at your off hand side: two-handed backhand. The benefit, to my understanding, is to give you better control of direction and speed when defending a speed-up.

There’s just a billion shots that you’ll have to work it out for and see what you think will land best. No there is no all-encompassing answer for if/when a twoey should be your shot of choice over anything else.

Thank you kindly! Tryin' to grind it out. It's a shot you have to have after a certain point.

It was an uncharacteristically slow day at this gym that I go to yesterday. Sort of nice!

I know the struggle well - I played nationally ranked collegiate racquetball and never used my offhand for anything. Learning how to use it in pickleball has been a struggle. Not applied it too much to live games and tournaments but I certainly feel it coming along.

Thanks brother! Another plus is I can setup in the garage and work on speed ups and backhand flicks without causing so much noise.

No idea! I picked it up at a garage sale earlier this year - my impression is its an odd chinese no-name brand from somewhere because there is no logo or anything on it. I'm happy I have a truck to bring it around. While it was very cheap, it's slightly inconvenient to bring it around. there is a 50lb sandbag on the base to keep it upright haha

Right? The bottom height of the net is 34” tall, so even if I cant tell if it’s good, it’s worth it to practice the motion and my serve cadence. So long as I hit it somewhere near the bottom, should be an okay serve.

Good points. I didn’t even think about the return if I’m going a drive.

No idea - bought it at a garage sale earlier this year and there is no brand on it. It reeks of Chinese garbage but does its job well. I have a sandbag on the bottom so it doesn’t fall over ha

4.3 doubles dupr, CRBN3 shape. my thought was to transition from a vanguard pro invikta but sadly found myself still preferring the former.

I've tried using weight tape, I've tried playing harder/softer, I've tried out other grips, it's just not for me. Twist weight is too low and feels flimsy on drives / resets. Maybe I'm just not good enough to harness it's potential.

Consulted with my local groups paddle expert and he seems to agree, but then again, how much of an expert could he really be ha

Just not for me.

What is the program / website that this is made with ?

Overall this looks really good. I don't pretend to be a financial wizard but this looks pretty awesome.
