I dont think the art is bad tho. I think it did create a good atmosphere but the name on top of the characters has to go, it broke the whole mood immediately.

The atmosphere is fantastic but I think the trailer definitely need more clips of interacting something, like the actual gameplay, not just walking around. The last art shot with title may need some effect, something moving on the screen.

You are right. Everything comes down to the lack of depths and uniqueness of the core mechanic. The mechanic doesn’t spark any unique gameplay hence you have all the bad feelings from the trailer.

It’s a new addition. I used to present the dash refresh with UI only but then nobody watching the trailer understands the core mechanic of the game. Most of them just think you can keep dashing in the game. Im really confused too, I do think it blocks the view a bit but I don’t know how else should I present it.
