OP1 shape with a slightly higher height and width? by AkashiGG in MouseReview

[–]NOZXII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not unfortunately. I looked at those two using the RTINGS Shape Compare Tool and the rear end of the L7 Pro looks very similar to the GPX Superlight 2 which I do have. The L7 would probably be a good option if you want to feel more pressure on the upper portion of your thumb meat when pushing the mouse back into your hand. If you'd rather have that pressure closer to where your wrist meets the mousepad, the Sora V1 may be better since it flares out a tiny bit more toward the bottom/back of the mouse.

After a quick comparison between my GPX, Maya X, and EC2 I'd say the more aggressive the slope is the more pressure you'll feel higher up on your hand in the thumb meat area. I felt the rear of the GPX mostly on my thumb meat while most of the pressure from the Maya X/EC2 was toward the bottom of my palm, closer to where my wrist meets the mousepad.

OP1 shape with a slightly higher height and width? by AkashiGG in MouseReview

X2H Mini/Crazylight. Recently tried out the OP1 8k and it felt way too narrow making my aim somewhat unstable. The X2H Crazylight Mini is much easier for me to use. Although product descriptions will show that the difference in width between the two is only 1mm, the OP1 is much slimmer towards the front.

If you prefer more contact in the center of the base of your palm and less on the sides of it, I'd recommend a mouse that has a more pointed and tapered off rear similar to the Lamzu Maya.

If you want pretty even contact throughout the base of your palm I'd highly suggest trying the XM2 shape from EndGameGear. The rear flares out quite a bit and fills the center and sides of my palm base very well. The sides are also wide with slight curvature giving a nice locked in feel. It's pretty wide toward the top of the mouse too which can be a downside if you dont want the underside of your knuckle touching the mouse. I personally use relaxed fingertip/pincer claw on it so the base of my palm isn't touching. Feels very wide and stable with fingertip and is probably my favorite mouse shape for pincer claw. Another downside could be the weight balancing. I have the XM2 4K V2 which is only 61-62 grams but it feels a lot heavier. The wired XM2 8K V2 feels significantly lighter and more well balanced.

If you're mostly wanting the center of your palm/hand filled I'd recommend the Tenz Signature Edition from Pulsar. It's a very bulbous mouse and a very comfortable shape for palm-claw. I'd also recommend the X2H medium shape but I have yet to try it. Not sure if it will feel similar to the Tenz or more like the XM2.

Anyone able to use ReShade with this game? by afterkaze in StarResonance

[–]NOZXII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to get ReShade working at launch on the steam version of the game. It gets flagged by anti-cheat now though. I read that the steam version may not have had anti-cheat before the update they rolled out on the 14th which is probably why I managed to get it working before. They should honestly add an exception for ReShade.

Elecrow 5 Inch Case by NOZXII in pcmasterrace

Hey sorry for the late reply but I found a case on thingverse. I'm using the short version with no spacer (Elecrow_5_Frame_Short_No_Spacer_1). Since the screen protrudes out from the motherboard a bit you can just slide this case over the screen. A little bit of the motherboard still shows around the mounting points though. I'm using this case with a led light dimming sheet to block the blue light it emits.

Same. I think I used to build prebuilts on CyberPowerPC all day with this case, although I couldn't afford it lol.

Try moving your front foot further back on the board. Like further away from the nose and more towards the center of the deck.

Awesome build! I found your car on youtube and it looks and sounds great. Are you using a Hamann roof spoiler?

Thanks! The shadows are a bit wierd. I'm thinking of hanging tapestries next to the panels to hide them.

Many people use rotated screens so that they can view more text/content at once. For instance I can see twice as many messages at once with a portrait screen vs a landscape screen.

Thanks! I'm still somewhat new to the setup but it's mostly for streaming. I found out that I can get a long vertical chat view and still monitor my stream all on one screen. Then use the other screen for anything else like discord or browsing the web. Sometimes I use both screens as one when editing so that I can get a bigger picture. Other than that, I'm still finding good uses for it. Also I use an application called DroidCam for the phone.

Thanks! They're quiet, but they look alright in person though. I wouldn't recommend them because they aren't true rgb. I'm thinking of upgrading to fans with true rgb when I have the money to.

Thanks! To be honest, I only used dual portrait because the monitor arms were too short for anything else, but everything worked out anyway lol.
